Elmato 10227 Hedgehog House Solid Spruce Without Floor / With Tunnel Entrance

Its well made but not having a base I had to purchase elsewhere waterproofing for the ground and on top. I am waiting for the hedgies to approve of it!

Arrived cracked / split in a couple of areas. Not worth the money. The hedgehogs we did have left as the thought of going inside must have upset them. Maybe because it looks like Auschwitz for wildlife and was not water tight. As for the tunnel, it did not fit properly and was loose. This product was designed and put together by a lazy, unskilled, flipper handed idiot. Just because you stick a hedgehog sticker on it does not make it a hedgehog house. I would ask for my money back but would probably mess that up too. Good day sir.....

The overall structure is well made although it is disappointing that the tunnel is not attached and in fact has warped in the rain. It did not take much for me to attach the tunnel with brackets.

Arrived broken, pictures to show. Ordered as a gift so disappointed, no time to return gift before needed. Also it has a green roof, unlike the plain wooden one shown in pictures!

Brilliant little hog house, well made, looks beautiful and should be much appreciated when they come out of hibernation soon :-)
