Not for the inexperienced. Large, colourful cross stitch kit.
Very good quality thread. Massive, intricate project. Will take a long time to complete but looking forward to doing it enormously. A bit expensive but final product will be big. Worth it to not have to source all the threads. Not for the inexperienced cross stitcher. Delivery to chioce of pick up excellent.

VERY LARGE project, great value
This is an amazingly large cross stitch, NOT for the faint hearted. The chart is over 28 pages and there are over 80 colours, pre sorted on several cards. I have been cross stitching for over 30 years and have done big projects before but never this big. I have hummed and hahhed over 12 months about getting this one and it was on my wish list for a long time. I usually stitch on 28 count and I was going to swap out the fabric after purchase but the quality of the Aida provided is of excellent quality and comes very nicely edged so no pre treatment necessary (I usually glue (Hi-tac fabric glue) or tape rough edges) but there is no need to. The floss seems good quality but I won't know until near finish whether the quantities are enough. I worked out how much it would cost for the floss only if I bought just the chart and it would have cost well over £100 so the kit seems great value for money. The Aida supplied is 100cm x 80cm - a BIG amount of fabric! The only downside I can see is that there is not a better picture of the finished product on the front of the booklet, I have got around this by taking screenshots of it from the Amazon website.

Not for the faint hearted!
I have never had a cross stitch project come with a booklet for the pattern before. This is a very big project and expect it to take a number of years to complete. No half stitches which is great and shaping up nicely after a number of months work. There are a lot of threads but the pattern is easy to follow so I envisage being able to finish it at some point in the future and it will look fantastic.

A Lifetimes work (almost!)
I nearly fainted when I saw what I had bought. I have done large needle works before but nothing on this scale. It is very hard work. I had to buy a very large frame to start with, and it is very intricate, with lots colours almost the same. After a few months I am only 3/4s of the way through the second page. I think when the light goes as we move into winter I may have to shelve it till spring. Howeve,r even though I don't sound like it I am enjoying this challenge, and I can see it will be superb when finished.

Good quality but colours are totally different.
The actual colours are not remotely the same as the picture. They are much darker and make the picture look drab and dull. Had these colours been better represented on the picture I may not have bought it. Having said this the quality of the threads are very good and the bound booklet of the pattern and overlocked fabric was very good.

Take your time on this one.
This is going to take a while to do, the colours are so vibrant. Take time and concentrate. This is going to look great when I have finished it.
