Large enough you don’t have to refill frequently. No grinding or taking lids on and off to use. Durable. Washable. Variety of hole size selections for various desired amount of salt and pepper. Looks high in. Great quality. Beautiful gold color. Not a light bright shiny gold. They are darker gold with a satin finish and the words Salt and Pepper are written in black script. Very nice set. Matches my other gold accent pieces. I would buy again

These Shakers dress up my Dining Table/Desk!
LOVE these Golden Salt & Pepper Shakers! I wanted a pair that COMPLETELY CLOSE TIGHT to keep knats, fruit flies, and moisture out. Assorted size holes in the tops make it easy to sprinkle a dash-to-plenty with a twist! The glass bottoms give it a fancy flair while easily identifying at a glance, which one is the Salt from the Pepper, (although they have "Salt" & "Pepper" in black lettering on the lower side of each one). Nicely matches the Golden Toothpick Holder for my Dining Table/Desk, too. Highly recommended for dressier tabletop decor.
