GOLAMen's Ama202 Fitness Shoes

These really were a bit of a surprise. My podiatrist suggested swapping to Velcro fastening trainers from my usual lace up shoes, as being easier to put on/take off, and being healthier for my feet because of a more even, seamless interior.I was a little wary of the idea of Velcro fastening (a bit naff?), and wondered what the quality might be like on such a low priced item.On taking them out of the box I was pleasantly surprised at how “normal“ they looked. Their comfort is genuinely excellent (they are indeed quite wide), and the trainers give good grip, with no squeaking sounds. They have required no wearing in, been fine from day one., and are a doddle to put on (I have restricted mobility. Some months later there is no discernible sign of wear, inside or out. I have already bought a back up pair, and I am generally delighted by my purchase. If that opinion changes over time I will update this review, but so far I have been genuinely surprised by the quality and comfort of the Golas, particularly at this price point. No street cred at all, but that is not what these are about. Highly recommended.

Excellent trainers they are so comfortable to wear, the straps are log enough for me with swollen feet,And the rubber soles will be a good grip in the winter.

Good fit. Not too heavy. Wear to go in and out of the garden.

Perfect fit for my wide fat feet.I was purchasing Dek trainers before but the Gola last so much longer. Good quality trainers at a reasonable price.

I bought these because I am old and getting stiff and can no longer tie my shoelaces. These are velcro fastening which I can manage without a problem.Overall they are very comfortable to wear and appear to be made to a very high standard.

I had a pair of these trainers on their last legs, so went to order another pair. They arrived and weren't as comfy so saw there was a wide fit option, ordered them and they were exactly the same product , code as well.So breaking them in trying to soften the uppers as they really do pinch at the moment. My observation is that I thought my second pair would be different from the first pair as described differently. I struggle to find suitable shoes for my son who has motor coordination difficulties and cannot manage laces. Shops don't seem to stock Velcro shoes in adult sizes because they presumably don't think about the fact that there are many grown up children and adults that have a problem with tying laces! They were so comfy for my son that I ordered a second pair as back up.
