I recently purchased the UNA GELLA Builder Nail Gel, a peach pink color gel nail polish with a 2-in-1 hard gel builder. I love this as a builder. Easy to use. I’m not super good at using it but that is what the files and buffers are for.

Provided you have a UV lamp this is a great builder because it has a nice pale red color in fact I wouldn't even call it red. It reminds me of a tomato soup with lots of cream added giving it a pale red color. The builder works well and stayed on no lifting for three weeks which is good for me because I never remember to wear gloves when doing dishes.

The builder gel is nice. It has a good consistency to get a nice apex built up without flooding the side walls and it self levels nicely so you don't get lumps. The milky white color is nice and classy looking. The gel has a good longevity without cracking or chipping.

I ordered this to use prior to dip powder for strengthening my nails. My nails are a bit weak after I was a bit too aggressive with my new electric nail file and have been splitting or tearing. I also had one nail that tore below where I could cut it... I put two layers of this builder gel on (after a gel base coat) and then put dip powder on (using the gel method). So far, it has stayed on for over a week despite the tear in my nail. The price and quality for this builder gel are good and I am thrilled that I gave this a shot.

I wanted this as I think the color is very unique. And it is in my opinion. But it also works extremely well and the consistency is nice. Easy to work with.

I am still pretty new to doing my own nails and have a lot to learn yet, along with patience.This went on really easy and smooth. The color (or lack there of) is exactly what I was wanting. The only issue I had is the patience of this curing.I have two different lamps and experimented with each on different days. I had to do nearly 7-8 minutes each time. I don't know if this is a lamp issue or if this is something to do with the product itself. Beyond that, this has met my every expectation. I feel the price is reasonable as well.

I am SO happy with this gel!! I have tried a couple colors of this gel, and while this one is not my absolute favorite of this brand, I LOVE the formula!It cures quickly and easily, and looks like the perfect transparent, lovely reddish color. I did find the tomato red to be a bit more muted than I expected (slightly more faded salmon-pink reddish), but this isn’t a dealbreaker for me.I applied this builder gel over soft gel nails. The first time I applied it, I did NOT use a gel base, and it chipped off of the soft gel nails in places within a day. The second time I used it, I used a base gel over the soft gel tips, and it hasn’t moved.This is, without a doubt, my new favorite brand of builder gel. I am incredibly pleased with the formula and the quick cure time.To get the best nails, I HIGHLY recommend purchasing a smaller UV light to “flash cure” each nail as you go. This requires a 10-20 second ‘cure’ on each nail, so that the gel does not move. When I get lazy, I do two nails at a time (since the gel doesn’t move THAT quickly)… but it still helps to avoid buildup on the cuticle and sides of the nail. This has been a game changer for me, both with applying soft gel tips with glue gel, AND when using builder gel.This builder gel is amazing and it will be the first brand I buy from now on. I am more than pleased with it and my nails look amazing. ;-)
