I found a fix, lowes hardware sales a rubber sink gasket that fits over the top. so if it falls over it will hit the rubber ring and the glass wont be damaged. Over all its great.

Are the measurements accurate or are they approximate measurements

My pharmacist friend says it's best to use at least 20% of capacity for accurate measurements. Thus for 100 ml, use at least 20 ml.
