With the other fan, even the lowest setting was too fast and somewhat noisy, and the higher settings felt like a tornado in my office. This fan is completely different. The low speed is excellent and extremely quiet, and the medium and high settings are well-balanced and comfortable. Overall, it feels much better designed. You can actually tell the quality when you turn it off — it has a noticeable heft and smooth momentum as it winds down, which suggests better construction than the price would imply. I definitely recommend this product, and the remote works great as well. The only small hiccup was that the remote wasn’t synced to the fan out of the box, but syncing it was very easy. The instructions in the user guide are clear, and once paired, it works beautifully. Light works great too, 3 (i think) color temperatures.
