I absolutely love the BUYDEEM K1563 Coffee & Tea Brewer. It looks beautiful on the counter and feels very high quality. The brewing system makes both tea and coffee taste smooth, rich, and flavorful without bitterness, and I really like that the tea separates automatically so it doesn’t over-steep. The temperature and strength settings are easy to use, the keep-warm function is very convenient, and cleanup is simple. It combines style, convenience, and great performance all in one machine, and it has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen appliances.

This review is for the K156 model. I love this tea maker. I’m impressed with the quality. I like that my tea is not touching any plastic. That was a huge reason why I chose this tea maker. This kettle steams the leaves instead of heating them in the water. I like that you can steam the leaves with this model or just heat water to a certain temp to steep tea bags. I have not had any leakage issues. The pot cleans up nicely. We do have soft water, so I’m sure that helps as well. The water heats quickly. I am extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend this product.

This is by far the best electric kettle ever. It boils so quick and nice. I also love no plastic touching the water heating chamber and clear glass is very very good! I love having it on my kitchen counter. Customer service and warranty process is also THE BEST!

I have had this pot since September, and find it to be an excellent pot I usually use it 3 times per day, and have had no problems with it so far. The infuser they supply with the pot is pretty fine so the only tea that gets through is the fine powder. I had baskets by a company called Finum that are extra fine mesh screen at home already, so for the teas that have some powder, I just strain it again with the Finum basket in the cup. The mesh used by Finum is so fine that not even the powder gets through. I did notice that some reviewers were complaining that the heating plate on the bottom of the pot was not stainless steel and sent photos to show the rust they have on the plate. That is not rust showing in the pictures, it is mineral deposits from the water they are using. I have very hard water in my area, and I am not able to install a water softener. The water filter I have doesn’t filter out minerals, only stuff like lead, chlorine, cysts, etc. so I get the same thing they are showing in the pictures, although in one of the pictures there is so much build up I wouldn’t even drink anything out of that pot until it was cleaned. There are a few thing you can do to clean the pots to make them look like new again. The easiest way is to purchase from Amazon a product called Clean and Revive by Astonish. You just bring a pot of water to near boil, then add a Tbl. Spoon of this stuff and let it sit for a couple of hours, and all of the deposits should disappear. If not, do it again. Another thing you can use is a product called Bon-Ami. It is a super mild cleanser that is basically guaranteed not to scratch it is so mild. It won’t even scratch the glass on products. I have been using this stuff for many years and have never had it scratch anything yet. It is in powder form, like other cleansers, and costs about $2.00 a can. I found out about Bon -Ami from my mother years ago and I always have a can available for delicate cleaning purposes. I use it for everything, especially my electric tabletop oven (glass window included). I wouldn’t recommend it for non stick pans though, because of their special coating, even though I have used it on older pans that were pretty shot, and didn’t notice any additional damage from using it. After you get the pot back to shape and looking like new, I just use a bottle brush and spray in some Dawn spray foam, and any tea residue and mineral deposits are gone. The thing is, is that the pot has to be done regularly every 2 or 3 days with at least the dawn cleaning. That only takes a few minutes. The only reason I gave this pot 4 stars instead of 5 is the manufacturer does not give the 212 degree boil setting any steeping feature other than boil. Most black teas and herbal teas recommend using 212 degree water and steeping it for 5 minutes. The manufacturer does not allow you to customize the steep setting at all. They don’t even have a preset steep function for this setting. On this setting you have to time it yourself. I just don’t understand that if they are going to give this feature to all of the other settings they just don’t include it for the 212 Degree setting I still recommend this pot, though. It is a very good pot at a good price. The glass used is quality glass, and the heating plate really is stainless steel.

This is a very nice electric tea kettle. It has a removeable tea infuser basket. I wanted removable because I read it is hard to clean the kettle if the basket is not removeable. Plus we rarely use the basket. We love the multiple preprogrammed settings. It is very easy to use.

Bought this after watching an herbologist demonstrate it on a video. I thought this was such a clever idea...until I started using it. No matter how low the temperature setting, how little water, or tea/herbs I used, the kettle boiled over. I ended up cleaning the countertop after each use. Too much work, too much clean-up. This this doesn't work as advertised. The manufacturer seemed to not want to take the return, emailing over the period of 10 days without resolution. Thank you, Amazon, for processing the return for me, where the manufacturer would not.

❗️UPDATE❗️I originally left a negative review because my kettle cracked at the base. I wasn’t even sure it had a warranty, but after contacting BUYDEEM I learned it comes with a 1‑year warranty. I reached out on a Thursday, and by Sunday I already had an updated version of the kettle 🫖 in my hands. The process was smooth, and I’m very happy with how quickly their customer service handled everything. The new kettle works perfectly, and I appreciate the company standing behind their product. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I bought this tea maker in February, and by August I noticed the first crack on the base. At first, I thought maybe one of my kids had dropped something on it, even though they denied it. But when the second and third cracks showed up just a couple of weeks later, I knew it wasn’t them—it was the product itself. Frustrating, because this tea maker is expensive and only lasted about six months before showing problems. It worked well while I could use it, but with the cracks spreading, I don’t feel comfortable continuing to use it.

I use this to brew coffee. For easy cleanup, I use disposable tea bags to place in the steel filter and it brews the coffee without a problem. Then all I do is just throw away the bag filled with coffee. No annoying grinds to have to deal with afterwards. I was a little hesitant to purchase due to the price, but I am so happy with this purchase and have no regrets. So worth it for good quality coffee.

I highly recommend this tea maker, i did not read the manual carefully in the beginning... so i thought, the machine did not brew except black tea, and i requested return, the return placed successfully, but because i really love the machine and its German strong and neat manufacturing, i decide to go again through the manual and read it carefully, step by step, i found i was wrong... and the machine work and brew perfectly in all choices, green tea, herbal tea, coffee and black tea, then i canceled my return request immediately, and i decide to keep this very very lovely tea maker. Please please read the manual carefully and follow-up all steps before you decide to return.

This is a wonderful tea maker. It keeps tea hot for hours and makes great black or green tea. Fast, efficient and elegant

UPDATE (June 2026): I am updating my original review from 1 star to 4 stars to reflect an excellent turnaround experience with BUYDEEM’s customer support and the replacement unit. After my initial frustration with the failed unit, a support representative named Lina reached out. She was incredibly patient, diligent, and helpful throughout the process, completely transforming my experience. The new tea maker arrived safely on Friday, and we've been using it daily since Saturday morning. The black tea brews perfectly, exactly as expected. I am also very happy to see that this updated model features much better, clearer labeling and markings on the unit—a very smart product improvement. Because my first unit's chassis unfortunately cracked and failed in under 18 months, my main hope is that this new base proves to be more durable. I am expecting its performance to last well beyond the agreed upon warranty, and hopefully far past the lifespan of the first one. A huge thank you to Lina for the stellar customer service! Original Review: Do not waste your money. Purchased on December 31, 2024, our BUYDEEM K156 Tea Maker completely stopped working in less than 18 months. The buttons still beep and light up, but it will not heat or brew at any setting. Additionally, cracks have formed on the base's chassis. Customer service was unhelpful. After making us send videos and go through useless troubleshooting steps (like spinning the jar and drying a base that wasn't even wet), they concluded by offering a mere 20% discount on a new one. I refuse to invest more money into an expensive appliance that breaks this quickly. Great while it lasted, but built to fail.

Trying to go plastic free and this was the closest I could find. Super good machine, use it everyday and love it!
