This pedal is awesome, for the price and quality it can't be beat! I use it next to my Dunlop MX80, and it give the sound I absolutely love! For a fraction of the of Tech 21, Darkglass and EBS.

Great Direct Interface for the money. I dont use the distortion much but the tones you get are clear and just what is needed.

Very useful, has built in DI. The overdrive is more of a volume boost, does not add a bit of dirt as i expected.

This preamp is the best value I’ve found at the price point. Really great sounding preamp. Sounds $200 or more item. Feels like it’s built well. Have only had for a week so can’t speak to long-term quality of the unit.

If you're running a bass into this with no additional effects, this unit can work quite well. After toying with it for a few days, though, the limitations became clear. With effects, it seemed like the preamp distorted pretty easily. The overdrive was nothing special. The EQ was adequate but disappointing in the end. It seems easier (and cheaper) to just buy compressor, drive and EQ pedals and run them into a DI.

This has no business being as nice as it is for the price. I was looking for any kind of preamp into my interface, and this was near the least expensive. Its got a really nice base tone. The comp and drive in Pre-mode is so nice.

…- to make your bass sound like a BASS. If you’ve got a practice guitar amp, and your bass sounds flat but you don’t want or need to shell out a month’s rent for a cheap, muddy sounding bass amp, this is all you’ll need. It’s a little powerhouse of a sound-shaper: a combination compressor/EQ, and preamp - with A, B, or A+B options, and it’s a no-brainer to almost instantly dial in the sound you want. It’s the quickest setting of a pedal I’ve ever done, even though there is a ton of range on each knob. I’m playing it into a pair of practice guitar amps, and it turned my setup into a full-on bass rig at a relatively low volume without stressing the amp speakers at all. Can’t wait to test out & use the direct balanced XLR output. There’s only one negative for me: the green LEDs are huge and super blinding bright making it hard to see the pedal, so I’ll do a mod if it’s not too invasive, or use some special LED tinting tape to darken them. Not an issue really, it sounds so good. I am super happy with it right out of the box, so it’s a keeper :)

I have nothing bad to say about this device, does what it's supposed to do and sounds great. It's great having the XLR out to eliminate another direct box after an EQ/Drive pedal. If it had a built in tuner/mute function it would be even better.

Bought this based on youtube reviews, not disappointed. A very useful preamp with basic controls, includes an XLR output as well as its unbalanced output that goes to an amp. A useable overdrive that changes the character of the tone in an interesting way. I found the compressor was useful, in the same way that any compressor without an input trim is. Feels well built. I also have their other bass preamp pedal and graphic EQ, which also feel sturdy and do what they need to do.

Especially when the overdrive is engaged it is pretty dark sounding, but very beefy sound. Recommended, but not if you are into super clean bass tones.

Me ha sorprendido gratamente este pedal, yo lo uso junto a un pedal wah-wah y saca un sonido muy bueno, además tiene salida balanceada xlr que funciona perfecto para conexión directa a mesa. Lo recomiendo.

This is a good value bass pedal. The compressor is far better than those I've paid a lot more for in the past and the drive adds enough dirt without being ridiculous. (You can push it to ridiculous if that is what your after.) If you want a good solid bass sound with a little edge, this is a great pedal.
