The Galloping Grandmother of Thousand Oaks: The story of Belle Holloway, nee Fletcher

These are stories of a tough and tender woman during the early part of the last century in Southern California. This is my Great Aunt's memoir. I read the original manuscript decades ago. I am so delighted to see this in print. So many thanks to all of my family that has made this this history available for others to enjoy.

Very well written with a great deal of great photos and documentation. I highly recommend this book!

Belle Holloway's story is nothing short of extraordinary, an insightful look into what life was like for a strong, hard-working woman in early 20th century California.
