The media could not be loaded. It takes several days to start seeing a different but TOTALLY WORKS!!!I even though about returning the item (at the beginning)I'm glad I didn't.Doesn't make noise and the clarity of the water BEYOND expectations!!

Working great, but the UV lamp can only run 8,000 hrs so I am wondering what type of UV lamp should be chosen to replace it?

USA have to support 110 V not 220 V

I use this filter set up in my quarantine tank. I love the UV light and how it can drastically reduces parasite life expectancy that I often bring home from my local pet stores. The UV light has an on off feature. If you run it 24/7 you’ll prob have to replace it eventually. Definitely worth the money. My only complaint is the pump and light are separate cords to plug in.

We were impressed by how powerful it was and kept the tank looking great...for about 24 hours. After that, it only pushes about 50% power even after making sure it's cleaned etc. We have a 40 gallon tank, maybe I'll order the larger one for 50+ gallons and hope that works much better. Or at least for longer.

We were dealing with algae outbreaks this has put a stop to that
