The fabric looks and feels like leather; the stitching is distinct, even and attractive. They are sturdy and comfortable. The legs are all the same length; they do not wobble. I am very happy with this purchase. That being said, I did hire someone to assemble them for me. It took him between 1-1/2 to 2 hours to put all 4 together, so if you need the help, factor that into your final cost.
