Simple plugin, but needs longer screws. Works great !

Ease of installation, haven’t tested the brightness yet at night time. Quality it pretty good, comes with a new seal so it doesn’t leak. Took not even 5 minutes to install.

Do not buy this thing if you have a Ford raptor. Amazon says it will work but it doesn't. The wiring isn't right. And I failed to notice in the description it says doesn't fit Ford raptor. In the trash it goes. Not worth returning.

3.5 to 4 starsApplication: Ford 2005 F150The item works, and should be easy to install although I had issues, see below. The light cargo light output is good. I bought the LED replacement so that tailgaters will get a few milliseconds more warning of braking versus incandescent lights.The electrical connection is clever but prone to corrosion-- Nilight unit has wires to a plastic simulacrum of a bulb base, which then plugs into the Ford connector that formerly contained the actual bulbs. This is not water tight so eventually corrosion will set in, for vehicles of this age probably not a major concern since something else will fatally fail on the vehicle somewhere else before the corrosion is a problem.More concerning, the wire ends from the Nilight going to the plastic insert that in turn plugs into the Ford socket, are brittle, I needed to flatten the wires passing through the plastic insert in order to insert into the ford connector half, and the wires broke just gently flattening the wires-- poor quality copper alloy (indeed, the unit arrived with one of the two wires already broken). This only affected the brake light (sad for me, I had to fix it; if it was cargo lights I could ignore losing one of two sets of lights). Cargo lights and wires were OK, copper seemed normal.So buyer beware, you might have to do some minor repairs to get a functioning replacement.

This fit perfectly. I reused the original screws, since it does not come with any. This is noted in the description, so I knew this when I bought it. The foam seal fir correctly and I am not worried about water leaks because of this. It is all smoked out and does have a different look from the original. The original has a large clear plastic area and this one is all black/smoke color. The bed lights are very bright and light up the back of the truck bed well. The brake light is also brighter than the original, and now this is brighter than my tail lights.

Product works and fits great on my 1996 ford ranger xlt and so far I haven’t noticed any condensation or anything within the light and that seems to be a trending issue with these lights I would personally buy again. (Keep in mind it does not come with hardware)

I put this on my 2001 sport trac and it looks pretty good. My old one had the bulb and the housing melted. The weird thing though is that the connector looks like a ford plug, but I don't see where the wires connect on the truck. It was no big deal so I just cut the wires off of the connector and soldered them to the truck wiring harness.
