Have drop foot in right foot due to bad back surgery. Have had custom devices, very, very expensive and uncomfortable ones at that. Found several softer models on Amazon. Ones that encased by big toe and some similar to these product. So far this one provides the best support. If any improvements is the solid foot pad was angle upwards towards the big toe and it should actually be under the big toe itself. Just a little lip. Also if they can make the foot sleeve up until the top where it fastens out of a thinner, but still sturdy material. Then it would be perfect! However, it still is a superior design, just a tad bit bulky for form fitting shoes.

I have drop foot from head-on collision is 2016. Had 1 surgery to remove rod and screws prior to knee replacement. The nerve damage decided to flare up, especially at night. Used this last night and no pain from foot and nerves stretching. Definitely works. Wore with loose sock under and footie for walking after retiring for the night to keep sheets clean.

I suffer with Drop Foot. Over the last 2yrs or so I have purchased (from Amazon) 5 different soft boots for my drop foot & this is the first one I can honestly say works really well, stays in place & will likely last. If I can remember, I'll re-review this in 6 months.

I have used several products both prescription and over the counter drop foot devices. NOTHING worked. Within days of starting to wear this, even when I don’t have it on my walking is better. I had been tippy towing to avoid scuffing my foot. My muscles have improved so much already (week and a half) my muscles actually resist that motion. The only negative thing I could say is that you need a shoe that is wider at the ankle.
