The wave blade is made of high quality chrome molybdenum steel, hardened by vacuum process to 56-57 Rockwell hardness. The matt polished blade provides optimal rust resistance. Due to the regular waves along the blade, the knife glides safely and without slipping through cuttings with hard shells or crusts. The shaft spacing (from tip to tip) is 6 mm. The standard plastic handle is made of particularly non-slip and comfortable grip material (TPE). The well-shaped protective nose provides a secure hold and reduces the risk of slipping of the knife-leading hand.
