This thing isn't as efficient as I hoped. If this one isn't fully charged- forget it.

I recently purchased a rechargeable paddle board pump, and it has truly transformed my paddle boarding experience. The instructions call for initial charging by USB-C charger but the full charge green light never came on even with a high powered charging cube. The unit did appear to be fully charged in any event after a few hours of charging.The air supplied by the pump is not very strong compared to other pumps I have used and it took 10 minutes to reach 1.5 psi in my kayak! By the way, the minimum automatic shut off is 3 psi which is too high for many applications and could cause your inflatable to be irreparably damaged. It apparently doesn’t have a dual inflation mode whereby it first should deliver volume and then switch to high pressure. Air flow was very poor. Deflation function was virtually non- existent. Returning for a better choice in pumps.I did purchase a more expensive pump on Amazon from TOPUMP and it works perfectly and inflates my Intex Excursion K2 kayak in just a few minutes, switching from high volume to high pressure mode seamlessly.

I have a rechargeable air pump in one vehicle and I wanted another for our other vehicle so I ordered this one.When it arrived I was disappointed to discover that it was not a rechargeable pump. It does not have a charge port as advertised, only a plug for the DC power cable that plugs into the power port (cigarette lighter) in your car, and for the pump to run it has to be plugged in and powered (see port pic). Unfortunately, in our Ford and Toyota vehicles the power port does not stay powered when the engine is off so I have to turn the engine on if I want to use this pump from our vehicles.The pump comes with plenty of adapters to cover most of your needs and a nice pouch to store everything in. The display is bright but still a little difficult to read in full sun. There are some preset pressures for various needs that you can roll thru. As soon as you connect the hose to the tire it will show you your current pressure. Setting the pressure you want it to stop at works very well. It is loud but that is expected with these air pumps. This one comes in at 80 db.The other thing I wasn’t crazy about is the hose for filling your tires. It has a straight chuck that you have to twist on instead of a clip on chuck that is easier to use. I found and ordered a hose that has a clip on chuck and it was easier and quicker to use then the included hose.I only tested the high pressure side of this pump so I don’t know how well the high flow side works, but it didn’t seem to blow very much air thru the port for the short time I used that option.

First. When I bought this unit I never realized the MINIMUM pressure it can provide is 3 psi. Why this is important? Several air mattresses, inflatable kayaks, and inflatable boats I have own specify a recommended pressure of 0.8 psi. This pump will overinflate (and probably explode) any of those inflatables if the user is not careful.The manual mixes bar and psi. This is not a problem since it also tells the user how to switch units but it can be confusing.The unit arrived completely discharged which is odd for battery powered devices and might cause some people to think it was dead on arrival. After a few hours of recharging it worked well as expected.The unit comes with no USB wall adapter (it think it is mentioned on the description). The manual recommends to use a 3A adapter which most people might not have (I didn't).
