The Christmas Tree Farm: A grumpy sunshine viral TikTok sensation romcom for fans of winter cozy mysteries and spicy romances in 2025! (Dream Harbor) (Book 3) Review: A very cozy and spicy holiday romance - I thought the book was a great one. It is the 3rd in the series. It is set in December and around Christmas. I loved it. I think that I like the 2nd one better. The vibes are cozy and have a hot chocolate read. I have the Paperback and the audio book. I listened to the audio book while I followed along with the paperback. I love the setting of the small town during Christmas. Kira picked up her life in Georgia to buy a Christmas Tree Farm even though she doesn't like Christmas. She was determined to be independent and prove to herself she can do it. At first, she was really annoyed when Bennet Ellis, Jeanie's brother, visiting from San Francisco for the holidays. Bennet swoops in to be her small town fix-it hero. That is until she realizes she may want to keep Ben around for other things. Bennet is Jeanie's brother so it was important to have read the first two books to get the full story. Another thing that I liked about this book was the dogs. The dogs were adorable. I am glad that she picked a pitbull breed in the book. This book is not a standalone holiday romance. It is worth picking up if you are in the mood for something festive with likable characters and a bit of humor. The book was in great condition when I got it. Review: Love this series! - Another cozy, fairly short and fairly low drama romance in this series. The fact that it is set around Christmas did give it an edge and I just loved it too. While this is in the shorter side the characters still had depth and their respective backgrounds were very interesting. Overall, a wonderful addition to this series. Again, I am not giving up my emotional roller coaster, at times drama filled, longer romance books, but these are wonderful reads. Each books has left me feeling all the great vibes without as much heart string pulling, and yet that facet is still present.

Fun but expected
Bad summary: Nesta buys a Christmas tree farm. Read for: 🎄 Cozy Christmas vibes 🎄 Rich girl gets poor 🎄 Grumpy x sunshine 🎄 Small town 🎄 Snowed in 🎄 Must love dogs The Christmas Tree farm features a prickly, hyperindependent girly who falls for the sweet, supportive guy. And I’m sorry, but the whole book I was picturing these two as Nesta and Cassian because it’s like if their personalities were copy-pasted into a contemporary romance. Overall, it’s a lighthearted read that progresses just as you think it will. There’s nothing new or much depth here, but it’s still a fun holiday romp. Side note that I’d recommend an eyeball read over audiobook. The narrator sounded like she was much older than the character, which was distracting. ⭐️: 3/5 🌶️: 2/5

Two people who don't know each other become close.
I like this series. It is a standalone book, but characters from books 1 and 2 of the "Dream Harbor" series will pop in. It's a cute, modern romance. There are some steamy parts, but not erotica. I had this book on Audible, and it was done tastefully.

Favorite book in the series
This is probably my favorite book in the series so far. I got into it in late November and it was a perfect start to holiday season. The beautiful copy with stenciled edges made this book feel like a Christmas present. This is another grumpy/sunshine trope, except Kira is the Grinch and Bennett is Santa. I adored the Christmas tree farm setting and how Kira's heart grew with love. I will definitely read the rest of the series! Book #3 is in the lead for me so far. The stories are heartwarming and captivating, with a bonus mystery story in each. Spice level is a bit high for my liking, but if that's what you're looking for, these books deliver it!

Very Explicit but Good Christmas Story
Well written, great read. A little too racy for my taste. I didn't realize "spicy" in the book description meant explicit detail. The overall Christmas story was good. Definitely not recommended for under 18.

Really Enjoyable
Anyone who loves the idea of living on a farm, and loves dogs and all other animals, like I do, will love this book. Kira takes a chance and buys a rundown farm far away from her parents and her easy lifestyle. When she finds Bennett roaming on her property she gets rather prickly and downright rude. But she warms up to his three dogs. She's trying to do everything on her own, but it takes her awhile to realize that being on her own doesn't mean she can't ask for help. Delightful characters and wonderful story.

This story takes place in the magical town of Dream Harbor. Its a part of the Dream Harbor series Kira North a rich spoilt brat who has never had gratitude for the privileges she had in her life ends up owning a Christmas Tree Farm far far away from her parents just to prove that she is reliable and capable to achieve something meaningful without any help. Bennett Ellis who has a tendency of helping people is on vacation in the town visiting his adorable sister Jenney the owner of Pumpkin Spice Cafe.. ♥️♥️ It’s Christmas and the magic is sparkling in the air when these two dejected souls meet and sparks fly in all directions.. 🎄🎄 I loved how these two characters have matured in the story.. they meet, the story doesn’t rush and they eventually explore their relationship, open up to each other and not to mention the spice which keeps the romance reader blushing through out.. 🥰🥰. I also loved how these two characters managed to learn from their past mistakes and believed in their decisions. The ending is not rushed and gives the storyline the perfect amount of depth. Add this to your holiday reads and make it more sparkly 🎄🎄♥️♥️🎄🎄. Hope my Bookstagram fam had the perfect Christmas.. 🎅 🎄♥️

"I realized, maybe too late, that being independent doesn’t have to mean being alone." I dove into this book expecting a typical holiday story, but the author completely surprised me. Kira isn’t the picture-perfect protagonist—she’s a little grumpy, a little guarded, and after a lifetime with her sister by her side, she’s thrown herself into an adventure she’s not quite sure she can handle alone. Then there’s Bennett, who’s made his own mistakes and isn’t eager to repeat them, despite his natural “rescuer” instinct. But somehow, they both find a way to set aside their fears and move forward together. I absolutely loved Jeanie, Iris, and all the other friends who welcomed Kira and helped her see that being independent doesn’t mean you can’t ask for help—and that sometimes, asking for help is a sign of maturity, a way of recognizing that some things just aren’t possible alone. 5 (spicy) stars for a story that warms your heart like a cozy fireplace on Christmas Eve.
