ORTONYX 9" Abdominal Binder for Men & Women, Postpartum Post-operative Post-surgery Compression Band, Umbilical Hernia Belt

I have owned numerous binders due to my back issues, so I feel like an expert at this point! I’d have to say that I really like this one, especially for the price. You can make it as tight as you want, the material is fairly thin so it is easy to cover up with most clothing, which is a big deal to me. The Velcro is really really strong. In fact, the only downside to this binder is that sometimes it is hard to get the Velcro to release when you want to take it off. It is not enough of a negative to ding points though. I’m super happy with this purchase.

This ab binder needs a different Velcro closure. The Velcro attaches to the fabric to close, but needs another Velcro to attach to, because when I try to open it the fabric shreds when pulled apart.

I really am impressed with the high quality of this Ortonyx Performance 9” abdominal binder. There is a very helpful instruction sheet included. The package it comes in is resealable, which is nice for storage. The packaging says designed in the US and made in China. Overall, this is a quality abdominal binder that is made to fit comfortably and it has a very secure Velcro closure.

The ORTONYX 9" 3-panel Abdominal Binder is good for light support. The velcro is super strong and holds very well. The downside is that it is hard to separate it to take it off. It also creates 'pulls' from wherever it was attached. It is comfortable and doesn't feel restrictive. I can still do everything I need to do and bend like normal but it just helps hold in the tummy area to help support the back. I feel more support though from Spanx so this is better than wearing nothing but isn't going to provide great support.

It shrink and turn yellow

My wife wasn't sure what to expect with this abdominal binder by ORTONYX. She figured it would be bulky and uncomfortable, but she was actually surprised! My wife got it for some sore muscles in her lower back. The binder is lightweight and flexible, so it doesn't feel restrictive. But at the same time, it provides good support for her back. The Velcro closure is secure and easy to adjust, but time will tell how long it will hold up. This looks to be average build quality. It washed well! No weird smells or shrinking after a trip through the washing machine. It's comfortable enough to wear all day, and it definitely helps with her back pain.

Super soft! I was skeptical that something so smooth and light could actually hold, but it did. I was also confused by the extra piece of velcro but once I removed it then I realized it would be needed to place back when I folded this up to store it. The velcro adheres really well and it pulls at the binder fabric. Save the velcro side they give you so that you can replace it when not in use.This isn't constricting and I wasn't looking for suction but it holds! I also love that the seaming keeps it from rolling down my back. It was comfortable enough to wear as a posture reminder. I'm recovering from a car accident and have medical braces that I don't like wearing any longer because they're too constricting but I still could use some support occasionally.

This is my second belly binder from Ortonyx, and this is by far the better band. The binder is very stretchy, allowing the user to adjust the fit to suit their needs. Despite this, the hold is fairly firm once you get it cinched up. I had a similar binder that was sectioned like this one that bothered me because it rolled and bunched between sections, but I'm not having that issue with this one. The only real gripe I have about it is that the velcro loops rough up the soft elastic on the binder so the fabric gets a very fuzzy look to it. I can ignore that, however, in exchange for the coverage, fit and comfort of this abdominal binder.
