Best DashCam on the market.
This is a 3 Channel Camera it comes with a Front Facing (Cabin) camera a Rear Facing (Trunk) camera and of course the Dash cam. A couple things to note. It's a 4k Camera. Only in DashCam Mode If you are looking for a Cabin or a Rear Camera 4k (Which I'm not even sure exist) this is not for you. Now. You have the option to have all 3 camera's running in 1080P Mode. Or Dashcam+Cabin 4k and 1080p running. This camera has the ability to upload to the cloud and the ability to watch your videos on your Phone via the rexing program. After reading several reviews on several websites. This Camera has the most features at the least cost $$160ish). The only thing else that I think would have been cool would have been a Pry tool included for easier installation.

Specs don't align with the Amazon description
I really wanted to like this dashcam, but it falls short in many regards. I'll start with the positives first.1. The included 32gb memory card is a name brand, Kingston2. There is an included screen for review of videos while most dash cams have gone to a smaller form factor and rely on phone apps and cloud for playback.3. The SD card can be removed for review on a PC or MAC able to read exFAT memory cards.4. The built-in screen lets you set up the camera using its buttons without needing to install a phone app for setup (although there is a phone app and PC app available)Here's where it falls short of comparably priced competitors:1. Rexing claims the primary sensor is a Sony Starvis but the unit I was shipped uses the GC4653 from Galaxycore Microelectronics (see photo of the Firmware screen). The GC4653 CMOS Image Sensor has a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels or 4 Megapixels. 2560x1440 pixels is known as Quad HD (2K). 4k video is 3840x2160 pixels and would require an 8 Megapixel CMOS.2. It cannot record even 2k video when the interior and rear window cameras are running. When the front facing, rear facing and rear window camera are all recording, they all record at 1080P resolution.3. The loop recording creates 1 minute files. Having so many small files to review makes it hard to find a specific event. Most dash cams in this price range have a setting to select 1, 2 or 3 minute files. I thought there might be a firmware update that would make this option available, but according to the Rexing support site, the firmware was the latest available.4. The power cable is hard wired to a cigarette outlet adapter and the camera end uses a long-discontinued USB Mini-B plug. I didn't want a power cord hanging from the camera to the console so I needed to purchase a Mini-B to USB-C adapter so I could use a standard USB-C power adapter (12volt to 5volt dash cam power supply) for the fuse box.5. The Rexing GPS app for the PC isn't a registered publisher with Microsoft and Win11 Pro rejects the download as dangerous software. I installed the app on an older version of windows and found other shortcomings. The Rexing GPS player software initially looks similar to other dashcam playback software for the Windows PC, BUT, it only lets you play the Front, Interior or Rear cam videos one at a time. Other PC playback software will play all the cameras in synchronized picture in picture so you can simultaneously see all of the views in real time. This is important when using the videos for proof of property damage or other legal purposes.6. Because of the LED screen and the attached rear-facing camera, the unit is very large. Modern cars which have cameras up near the headliner for the car's built-in safety systems restrict portions of the windshield where dashcams cannot be installed. This forced me to hang the Rexing from the rearview mirror which was directly in my line-of-sight.I have re-installed the Rexing in an older car where I was able to attach the camera high up, right below the headliner and out of the line-of-sight. I haven't re-installed the phone or PC app and just let it record figuring that any dashcam is better than no dashcam. For the money, there are better cams with better resolution and better apps.
