This is a beautiful robe. The colors are fantastic, beautifully embroidered and very comfortable. And best of all, it's reversible. I think a size larger may have been better but overall I'm extremely pleased with my purchase.

I had to look closely to make sure this robe was not made of real silk. It has a satiny feel that is enough like silk to fool me.The stitching is well done and the robe drapes nicely on me. This is a man's robe. But the model in the photo liked it a lot, too. The "Medium-Large" size fit pretty well for me, at 175 lbs and 5'7", but I could have probably also fit into the next larger size too.The embroidery is very nicely done, and does not bunch up the material in any way. Very precise and makes this robe a real work of art. It feels luxurious, and I'd say it looks pretty fancy, too. There is nothing to dislike about this robe, and the price is right.

For those who read the title only and don't read the fine print, this robe is polyester, not silk. I ordered it knowing this, but I was hoping that for the price (forty-six dollars at the time of writing), it would be a nice satin. Instead it’s a lower-end fabric, the kind they make costumes out of. It feels like a kimono costume. The redeeming factor - which would justify the price - is the embroidery. There’s an impressive dragon embroidered on the back on both the red and black sides.I’m mostly disappointed in the sizing. The listing has a size chart that goes by chest and length measurements. There are five sizes: S, M, L, XL, and XXL. But when ordering, the four pull-down options are:Medium-Large;Large-XLarge;XLarge - XXLarge;XXLarge - 3XLarge.I ordered this robe for myself (I’m a woman) and knowing that it runs small, I ordered the XLarge - XXLarge. When I received it and tried it on, it was way too small. I thought wow it really does run small! But then I noticed the hang-tag said Large. I went back to check my Amazon order and I did order the XL-XXL. But on the order details, it says that I ordered Large. Just Large. Not medium-to-large or large-to-xlarge. Just Large. If a person’s size falls anywhere between the smallest and largest sizes, they wouldn’t know how to order. It doesn’t matter anyway as it seems to be arbitrary. I got this because I thought it looked cool and interesting from the sale pictures. It can be worn both inside and out with the inside being black rather than red. The robe comes with a tie that can go through loops that are on both sides. As shown in the photo, pockets are also included on both sides as well. I highly recommend picking this one up!
