Amazing Sound
We had a little trouble setting these up, make sure you follow the instructions and fully charge the receiver. Once we set them up we used them for a karaoke party they worked great, the sound quality was good, no feedback and they are really robust. We are looking forward to more karaoke with these!

Great considering the price
I wasn't expecting too much considering the price of these microphones but I'm pleasantly surprised. They're very good quality, the sound is great, the battery life is mediocre, but the actual overall build quality is brilliant. The range of the microphone is good too and easy to set up. They do pick up a bit of background noise but for under £30, you couldn't complain.Much better than other expensive alternatives...Recommended.

Excellent for occasional use with a PA or portable amp
This item was supplied to me free of charge through Amazon’s Vine programme, however this in no way influences my review, which is intended to be both impartial and informative for potential purchasers. My wife and I teach swing dance, and although we usually use a head mic there are some events where a mc is only needed occasionally, and these are ideal in those circumstances. Some of our powered speakers come with wireless handheld mics, but not all of them, and sometimes it's easy to pick up the wrong mic for the speaker and looking a right twit when speaking into the mic and no sound comes out! We have now decided that these are the go to handheld speakers for our events as they can be plugged into any amp with either a mic in (6.3mm mono jack) or line in (3.5mm stereo jack using the supplied adapter) via the wireless receiver. You receive two handheld mics, powered by AA batteries so you can easily swap out for spare batteries if you run out mid event (but unless you're using the mic continuously throughout the evening that's unlikely to happen) as well as a wireless receiver which is charged via a USB connection - this could cause issues if the battery on the receiver dies during an event as you can't swap out the batteries, but as with the mics this is very unlikely to happen during normal use.The mics feel to be solidly made, and look the part as well as opposed to some of the very flimsy plastic looking mics out there. Sound quality is perfectly adequate, and range is pretty good so that you're unlikely to have sound drop in anything but the largest of venues (or if you go wandering off down corridors with walls blocking the signal). Compared to a wired mic with limited range and the trip hazard of a lead trailing behind you these are definitely a step up.For all but the most demanding requirements (i.e. don't think of using these for a vocal performance for example) these will serve you well. Recommended.

Great Basic Setup. Not for Pros
**DISCLAIMER** I am a Live Audio Engineer and have been for 15 years, so this review is from a professional audio standpoint - Please consider this when using this review to decide on your purchase. These microphones have a good weight and feel to them. They're very similar in size & shape to Sennheiser e935's, which is both a very pleasant & very familiar profile for consumers & professionals alike. Unfortunately, the capsules are very brittle-sounding and have a low Sound Pressure Level ceiling, which leads to easy distortion when singing, so your user will need to be good at pulling the mic away as they go louder.Changing the batteries and getting connected on the Microphones is not difficult, I have to admit. Markings are clear and the body is secure, so anyone can maintain these microphones. The Receiver is a problem, however. I've tried this on a Guitar Amp, on a DJ Mixer & on a Behringer X32 Audio Console. Unless you plug it into an Instrument Jack (i.e. One that is made for low output devices, liek a guitar) then you are going to struggle to get usable audio without ramping the Gain up, which draws a lot noise with it. I would never be able to use these microphones professionally, unfortunately... But I can see use-cases where you could use this for things like a Pub Quiz Night, or perhaps a karaoke party, providing you have the correct equipment to utilise it.When I can buy a single Wired Shure SM58 for only another £20-£30, I'm afraid I wouldn't buy this at £50. If the price was more reflective of the quality of the Receiver, say £35, then I would consider buying one just as a backup in case I ever needed one for a wedding last-minute or whatever, but not at this price point.

Fun for karaoke!!
I use these mics for all my parties and singing gigs with my band. There are no cords to be tangled up in as you move around. Also great to use as an MC to DJ music or make announcements. Sound is clear and crisp.
