Bought this for a trip abroad for my fine, straight has-no-style-growing-out hair so I wouldn't look completely frumpy while in Spain. Observations-1) it is surprisingly heavy. 2) I found I needed it to charge overnight every night because the charge didn't always last two days 3) It stores easily and you can close it as soon as you are finished and toss it in your bag b/c the case will contain the heated part away from whatever is in your bag or suitcase. 4) It doesn't get really hot but it does what I need it to do.I have short, fine straight hair that I want to kinda bend a bit so that it has some body and doesn't look like a fright wig. It doesn't get too hot which, for me, is fine because my hair is bleached, bends easily and I don't want to over-fry it. I don't know how well it would straighten thick curly hair, however. If your hair is already straightened and you want to freshen that up, it is probably a good choice for you. It heats up quickly but it didn't hold a charge for as long as I expected for the price. I travel a lot, so I expect to use it a lot. Let's see how long it lasts!

So I thought it was cute and easy to travel with but come to my surprise the battery life is way to short especially if you have long hair. Mine is slightly below my waist. Heat level was turned to its highest and within 5minutes battery turned yellow. Then the heat won’t stay heated it takes some time to reheat. Not very good tool to make good curls or straighten. Overall all I’m sure it’s a good travel size straighter for short hair but i wouldn’t recommend it for girlys with long hair .

So I purchased from two different sellers. I kept this one. It has a lower temperature setting of 160. That is ideal for curling the fine hairs by the face. The one thing I am not entirely a fan of is the "comb" like teeth on the wand. I find I have to brush my hair first otherwise it seems to tear the hair as it passes through the wand. It heats up fast and love the simple carrying case. As I do not plan to use it except for touch ups and travel I cannot comment on the length of a charge.

The device works pretty well for on the go. It definitely does not heat up as quick as irons that are plug in. It does take a little longer but it still works pretty well. It cools down at the same rate as the normal curling iron. That being said, I would say still let this cool before placing it into your bag. It does work even if you are plugged in and charging. There are safety features in that it will not just turn on if you press the button so it cannot be easily turned on in your bag if it happens to press against something in your bag. That being said, I would still pack it with your best judgment in mind. It does come with a simple type c plug. The battery last for quite sometime but do not expect this to last a full day if you have it constantly on. This device takes a lot of power so just be away of that. It does have a lock to keep this device from opening. You can also clean this device as needed with wipes and such. It does a great job with straightening and curling. You can easily use this when you are traveling. The pink color is where I feel is no the best. You can see wear and fade on it from constant handling in only a few months. Regardless, it does not effect the overall use of the device. Overall this curling iron works great. It is able to straighten my hair without any issues. It heats up just the same rate as any other device. It has different settings as well as safety features to protect it from turning on while you are traveling. The battery last for a good amount of time. The only thing is the color fades.
