Perfect for 2023 Tundra
First thing to know, this comes in two variations (at least for the Tundra). There is a MIRROR TAP version and a ROOF INSTALL version. They have different plugs, so make sure you buy the right one. This one connects to the factory dash cam plug that is in the roof behind the sunglasses holder and sunroof controls.Second, don't waste your time looking at other adapters. Sure, they may be cheaper, but they aren't wired correctly, even if it looks like it's the same plug. This is the only one I've found that works, plus you get a longer cable that allows you to mount the USB-C connector to the glass, meaning that even if you change out your dash camera, you won't need to open the headliner again. Great job Dongar!

Gotta have it if you have a dash cam
Easy install and really makes my Garmin mini dash cam totally unobtrusive--no dangling cords. Youtube video shows that it's a snap to install, at least on my Tundra.

Perfect for what I needed (2025 sienna and Viofo dash cam)
Seems to work well in my 2025 Sienna with a Viofo A229 Pro. Everything works as expected. I was able to use the blue wire for the OEM dash cam and tuck the adapter and wires into the ceiling above the passenger vanity mirror. The only thing to note is that the picture is correct and the description is wrong: it has a USB-C output, not USB-A.That's perfect for what I needed.

Lasted 4 mohts that.. poof... dead
This product is trash. I installed it in my Tundra 4 months ago and a month ago the camera started rebooting over and over again and then a week later it was dead. I thought the camera was dead but wisely went and bought a proper Dongar power adapted and just pulled out this bad product and installed the Dongar and the camera works perfectly again. Do not buy this, I actually though it was a Dongar and there is a clear quality difference.

Easy installation
I used this to install a dashcam in a 2024 Tacoma. It was a simple plug-in solution.

Fits the 2024 Tacoma but the connector..:
I initially returned this because it “does not fit the 2024 Tacoma” with some new radar system. I opened up the review mirror area as the instruction I found say for the Tacoma, but those directions are wrong.I accidentally came across a YouTube video “ 2024 Toyota Tacoma | Easy Dash Cam Installation” by Auto Minute that describes where the connector actually is for the newest Tacoma. The 5 in connector is hiding behind the overhead console. Pop it out from the front, plug in the adapter and push the usb cable through the headliner.Once I figured that out, it took less than 10 minutes from opening to locking the truck.Perfectly compatible and perfect fit.

This version will work with the 2011 ES350 if you change the pinout configuration.
This was purchased for a 2011 Lexus ES350 due to the 5-pin type connector. Although the connector DOES fit the auto-dimming mirror for this car, the pinout for positive IGN+ and Neg- ground are not in the correct places. Dongar no longer makes the correct plug and play version of a dash cam adapter for this car due to the lack of demand for it. That being said, you can change the pins in the connector by moving the Black (Neg-) wire pin to position 1 and the yellow (IGN+) pin to position 4 on both male and female connectors. Use the green wires to connect direct through for the other pin positions. This will only allow your dashcam to be powered when the ignition is on. The mirror that I have does not have a constant on Battery+ pin in the autodim mirror and mine does not have a compass so parking mode or constant-on is not possible with this mirror connection. You will have to use a direct hard wire kit if you want to use parking/constant-on mode.

Works as described
I came across an install video on YouTube. This definitely helps with a clean install, no need to mess around with long cables into the fuse box like you normally would. Thanks for an awesome product.Installed on a 2024 Toyota Tacoma. Gives power when car is on only. Just like I wanted.
