I manage a few rental properties and I needed basic doormats for every entrance that would hold up to tenants who won't take care of them. Buying an eight-pack of plain coir mats at this price made a lot more sense than picking up individual ones at the hardware store. They're simple. No design, no welcome message, just a plain brown coir mat. That's what I wanted. They look clean and neutral at any door without clashing with whatever else is going on at the entrance. If a tenant wants something fancier, they can put their own mat on top of it. The coir bristles do a good job scraping shoes. They're coarse enough to knock off dirt and mud before it gets tracked inside, which is the entire point. The backing is thick and keeps the mat from sliding around on concrete porches and stoops. They do shed just a tiny bit, especially in the first few weeks. That's normal for any coir mat and it settles down over time. A quick shake every now and then keeps them looking decent. At the per-mat price for this pack, I'm not worried about replacing one every year or so. That's the advantage of buying in bulk. I still have a couple of spares in my garage for whenever one wears out.

The bottom rug adds a nice pop of color and pattern, while the top coir “welcome” mat is classic and does a great job catching dirt. Both rugs feel like good quality and hold up well outside. They stay in place nicely and have been durable with regular use. This was such an easy way to elevate the look of my entryway without spending a lot. Overall, a great value and I would definitely recommend both!!

Great doormat! The picture is just as shown and hasn’t faded from being in the rain and sun. The doormat does shed a lot which makes cleaning tricky. An ideal size for front door.

Love this mat. No weird smell noted when we got it. Lays nice and flat with no bumps. Love how thick and heavy it is. We have high winds, so I'm always worried that mats will fly away. My kids somehow always tend to move the mats when they walk on it, but this one has been holding up since October. It's the perfect size for our front door. My wife says it adds such wonderful curb appeal. Worth it!
