Great adapter for sizing rings so they won't slide off. Couldn't ask for a better price for such s complete box of needed items for rings that are too large. Very reasonably priced too.

I have purchased this product previously and was happy with it. This purchase did not result in the same opinion. I had my rings increased in size due to my fingers increasing in size only to find out it was due to an undiagnosed medical issue. Once the issue was treated all of my rings were too large. So I went with ring guards for a temporary solution until my finger size stabilize. The color of the new set is not even close to gold it is akin to a copper color. It appears as if the processing may have been changed. I have compared it next to my wedding ring to show the color variation. Note how closely the last ring guards color is to the gold. I have worn it for 2 years and during that time have had to adjust it quite a few times, it is just not holding the size anymore; other than that everything is still ok, hence the need for replacement. I am very disappointed. It had been a decent product.

I was skeptical at first, but this ring guard is awesome! Installation takes some work and requires pliers to clamp it down properly. My biggest tip is to push the center bar upward to tighten the fit and cradle your finger. Once adjusted, it holds my large statement ring perfectly upright without spinning, and it is completely invisible. Highly recommend if you have the patience!

Metal is very thin and cheap. I would pass. There is a rubber coil included that does work well to give a snug fit.

Giving this product 2 stars because although it technically does what it should, it causes damage to the jewelry once installed. First off I’ll start by saying that there are two different types of ring guards that come in the package, a flexible plastic one which wraps around the band, and a metal one that is supposed to “hook on” to the bottom of the ring and help it to fit better. Well, i installed the metal guard in hopes it would stop my engagement ring from spinning until i could get it resized, and the first thing i noticed was the arms on the guard that wrap around the ring were much too long, so i had to kind of overlap the arms of it which was annoying, but understandable since it’s meant to fit all band widths. The problem started when i noticed it had actually caused some scratches on my ring, and sadly affected the engraving my fiancé had put on the inside of the band. The product also did not prevent the ring from spinning around on my finger, and since the arms had to be folded over and overlapping it didn’t really have a tight fit and would move around the band even at some points overlapping the pave diamonds along the sides of my ring. The gold also tarnishes quickly on the metal guard. After seeing it had caused some damage and wasn’t really working the way i had wanted it to i switched to the plastic ring guard that also came with this set. The plastic ring guard has worked much better, and helps to protect my ring from any scratches that would be caused by everyday wear however, my ring still spins around on my finger and i often have to adjust the plastic guard to keep it from covering up my side diamonds on my band. I wouldn’t personally recommend this for engagement or wedding bands, maybe for costume jewelry or a piece you don’t care much about as a quick fix. I’m sure there are better ring guards out there, it’s worth going for something more expensive to protect your ring, than something cheep like this.

I have recently lost some weight and my wedding band was too loose to wear. I have tried the awkward plastic ones. They are often bulky and will fall off. These are so easy to use and put on the ring. Much more comfortable and convenient than the plastic ones. I don’t even know it is there! I highly recommend these. For the price I paid I am pleasantly surprised! I don’t have to pay a jeweler to resize my ring now!

Everything was exactly as pictured. It even comes with instructions that the instruction card is quite small.

Seems like it would be a good idea but the just end up bending in and not doing any good. The metal is too flimsy and the edges can be sharp.

Don't use these much, but really nice when I do need them.
