This pack was really well thought out. The placement of the internal framework really does a good job of passing the load to the belt and shoulder straps which are heavy padded and ventilated. Once it was strapped on, it felt like an extension of my back and didn't slip around hardly at all. The large main pocket is handy for your bigger bulky items while the variety of smaller pockets aides in keeping things organized so you can find them later. The external straps are perfect for lashing down any external gear like a tent/bivy or hiking poles, water bottles etc. It does have a full pullover rainfly so that you can keep your gear dry in the event that you find yourself in wet weather.

I don’t know a lot about backpacking but I got this for my 1st backpacking trip. I watched a ton of YouTube videos to find the correct bag and this fits all my needs. It fits everything I have, it feels comfortable on my back, I don’t sweat a ton because it’s breathable, it’s well made while not being super expensive and it doesn’t weigh much.This is suited great for a budget friendly person. I’m personally really happy with this bag. It looks and feels well made. As I said above I’m a newby so take that into consideration. I dont wanna take a cheaply made bag on my 1st trip.
