Great value
Better than I expected. Lighter than my 20 year old traditional router, but heavy enough so cuts are smooth and it doesn’t jump around on you. Lots of adjustments and stops. Plunge is stiff, but manageable. Tried the bits and they worked fine. Thankful that it comes with collets in two other sizes as I had to use one of my existing bits. One point off for documentation. Almost useless. This product needs an accompanying video with explanatory dialogue.

easy to set up and use
My husband is enjoying using his new router very much. Once he got it set up for his needs, his woodworking is so much easier than when he was using an older router.

Excellent Quality, Low Price
I'm just a do-it-yourselfer and I needed a router to round over corners on some oak. This fits the bill and I'm very satisfied with a quality tool and accessories at such a minimal price. Excellent but, 5 stars.

Great little buy
Amazed what can be done with such a cheap little router.

Compact and powerful!
I'm a home hobbyist, not a professional. My previous router is a 30 year old machine I got as hand me down from my dad, and a dremel with a router table kit.I've had a chance to use this router several times, and I love it. The kit it comes with allows for a lot of flexible use, from under-mounting it, handheld, plunge cut etc...The plunge cut feature with the side guide is something I have not had before, but comes in very handy. It comes with a good variety of starter bits.My previous router is still usable, but it's quite big and a hassle to set up and put away. This one is compact, but the motor has good torque. If you need an occasional use rotary tool / router, then this price performance is hard to beat.

Crazy Low Price
This is a pretty good router especially considering the low price. Others have rightly noticed the high spring tension on the plunge feature, but the depth can be locked into place to take that out of the equation.Has a lot of features including a nice starter kit of bits in a nice wooden box that can also hold the smaller accessories and tools. Operation was smooth and fairly stable. A rail guide helps with narrow and straight work.Igooo should have included a better instruction manual. You'll need to spend a little time with the tool to figure out some functions, but they become apparent with practice. Unfortunately, the "bush plate," which is used for making patterns (how it does this is a mystery not covered in the guide) does not have mounting screws included. The only way I could see it possibly being attached is into the threaded nutserts in the plastic vacuum attachment bracket. I didn't attempt to do this for a couple of reasons. One, the base must be completely disassembled to attach the vac bracket (and I don't relish the thought of operating this tool with a big vac hose attached to it). Two, There's no explanation of how to cut patterns, so it's a wasted opportunity. There is also a shorter rod that resembles the two long ones that attach to a guide bracket. There's no explanation of what it does or how it attaches to the tool. Perhaps these quirks would be apparent to an experienced carpenter familiar with routers of all kinds, but that person would not be using this entry level item. For the weekend warrior/home handyman targeted in this price point, the lack of a better instruction book with legible illustrations and explanations was a serious omission. As of this writing no owner has posted a youtube video covering these operating features, which we rely on in lieu of a comprehensive guide book. Minus one star for almost greatness.

Nice Little Inexpensive Plunge Router
Igooo.... not Igloo... I assume it's "I Go".... but yeah, new brand, new tool. The router actually did a little better than I expected, for the price. The inclusion of a set of 6 bits was a nice touch. The router assembled easily and in five minutes I was ready to test it out on some scrap wood. The router did a passable job, not showing any signs of slowing down when I pressed hard against the material. The two things I would like to see improved were (1) The tension of the springs when you push down: The tension is inconsistent and resists too much at the top; It forces you to push down harder than you want to because you don't want chop into the wood. (2) The depth gauge is just a stamped metal rod and is difficult to read; dropping some black paint into the grooves on that rod would make it easier to read. It also needs to tightened pretty tight in order to make sure it doesn't slip down and allow you to go into the wood deeper than you intended.
