Tastes good in soups, gravies, with noodles and rice
I liked the taste and its unique flavour. Since it's fermented, it's best used with noodles and in soups. I've also used it in Indian curries to thicken the gravy, and also in making kimchi. Considering it's expected, it's good value for money. It's very salty and smells fragrant, both just as intended.

Doenjang is overhyped. 😄But its a good base for making soup.

Its almost near to it's expiry date and smells like medicine
Would recommend not to buy this product. It's near to the expiry date so it's useless I can't even return this is food item on top it smells like medicine. Not at all the authentic taste not near to it.the ingredient contains much more percentage of monoodium glutamate not for children and pregnant women! 30%! Then it must be not safe to have for all other people! Why can't we maintain any standard in foods! Must not buy from india.buy from any Korean brand.it should contain the most umami taste

miso soup, doenjang-guk, stews, pork seasoning etc. this paste will solve it. fresh and delicious. korean made product.
