This stuff works extremely well. I love gel food coloring, it works much better than liquid drops. Very happy with this purchase.

I ordered this 5 pack of food colors to use in my candy creation efforts. The colors are quite concentrated so you can use them sparingly and get vibrant colored creations. My wife used them for some cupcake frostings the other day. Without my permission mind you. But the cupcakes were really good so I forgave her. Anyhow, I like that these food colors are non-toxic and lack taste, as stated in the product description. I would point out that you should be careful as to not spill these colors on your white shirt or blouse, as you probably will have to dye the material the same color as what you spilled to use it outside the house. For bakers who want colorful creations these colors are ideal, and they work well for us candy makers too. I think the price point is reasonable given they are quite concentrated and will last longer. Overall, I am quite pleased with these food colors.

This set of neon food coloring gels works well for what they are. They produce nice vibrant colors for a variety of cooking needs (mostly desserts, but I'm sure some creative people can add them to breads, puddings and other dishes.) They are a little unusual in that they contain sugar (whereas many other coloring gels have sorbitol or other artificial sweeteners), but that doesn't seem to affect the function of these gels. One of my biggest frustrations with this set though is the box *looks* like it could hold 6 colors, but there's only 5 colors included and unfortunately it's missing blue, one of the primary colors! I would have preferred to have blue vs. green or purple since I could make those colors if I had blue.

A little goes a long way, vibrant colors are achieved with just a few drops, this set will last a while. The flip top lids are easy to open and the gel consistency makes it more manageable to get the amount needed than with the traditional liquid dyes. Classic shades are mixable to get custom colors. Perfect for baking fun, match treats to your party theme and decorate cookies and cakes like a pro. Careful they stain!

When you want your red frosting and icing to be red... (the green green and the black, black, etc.) Super concentrated gel so you don't need much to make your colors pop. If you've only used liquid food color you find in the grocery store, be prepared to be happily surprised; you don't need to 2 bottles of red to make... red. A little dab of quality gel color goes far. This is why you may spend a little more up front, but it's going to last so much longer than liquids.I love the gel food color, if I had any complaints at all, it's that this box is obviously made to hold 6 but they've chosen to fill it with just 5. I'd love the box filled and sold as a six pack! Satin Ice is one of the brands you will find in my kitchen at all times as I use many of their products for my specialty baking and cake and cookie decorating.

Review of Satin Ice Food Color Liquid Gel Kit, 3.1 fl oz, Pastel, 5 Count. My MIL enjoys making sugar cookies with my daughters whenever she visits and Satin Ice is her preferred brand of food dye. The colors in this pack are a lovely assortment and only a few drops are needed to make beautiful pastel shades. I also really like that these dyes come in bottles, rather than tubes, which makes them so much easier to store on the shelf!

This food color gel gets you great vibrant color without adding any additional flavoring. And I like the dropper tops. But - small annoyance - the inner seals on each container were SO hard to get off! It left my fingers stained.

Love these neons, the colors are bright and vibrant. I feel like I have to use a little more than with my other food colors to achieve the right look but not too much more.
