I absolutely love this Abaya dress! It’s perfect for special occasions like my daughter’s christening, as well as for everyday modest wear. This is a great Abaya for those of us who do not know how to wear one. It’s like a bath robe only more elegant. The fabric is a crepe chiffon. It’s opaque once you have it on because there’s a lot of fabric and it is tied to gather so it does cover very well. It comes with a scarf that can be fashioned into a hijab.

It’s not the dress it’s actually just a robe

So the material is proper chiffon and is gorgeous, however, it only came with the robe and hair scarf, not the slip that goes underneath the robe. So it won’t cover your front / middle and legs properly without something else under it that doesn’t come with the set. I have something that should work, but I’m a bit disappointed I don’t have a full set. I also agree with the people who said it’s about 2 sizes too small. Usually a regular large should fit me fine in American size shaggy / loose maxi dresses. This robe is tight at 2xl and doesn’t want to completely close around the bust area for me… I need to lose some weight anyway, so I’ll keep it, but this will not work as a proper prayer-appropriate abaya right now.

It was big in the wrong places and small in any other. No under dress . The tie doesn’t really hold . You will want to get an under dress and a hijab that covers your chest area.

Material was a little see-thru. I wore this to Dubai but I had to wear an alternative Abaya. Color was true and size was true but it was inappropriate as it was see-thru material.
