Because it folds as it is closing like a retractable gate, it's really convenient

Q: Can my cats jump over easily? I am looking for something to keep the dog out of their bathroom but yet let them go in.

I got it for my year old cat to keep out of the kitchen. Although she has tried to get around it with no luck, she has not been able to jump over it. It has 2 metal bars on the side and one on the bottom so she can not get around or under. I find it is an excellent product for the price. I used Command strips instead of the included hooks because I am a renter.
