This Granny Likes This Shoe
Ok, I guess I just don't know what "stylish" is any more. Comfort has become number one priority in my life. I have read so many reviews that say that this sandal is not "stylish" and that it looks like a "grandma sandal." Or best yet, an "old lady sandal." Well, I am a grandma and I am 64 years old so I guess I'd agree. However, these sandals allow me to walk, without pain of any kind, 1 to 2 hours a day. 7 days a week. NO PAIN! So back to the stylish issue. If someone could show me 1. What "stylish" looks like and 2. What shoe is both stylish and comfortable, I'll buy them. Until then this old grandma, who walks daily and is VERY ACTIVE, wants comfort. (Shhhh... I think these shoes are pretty cute. But what do I know.,) Oh, I suffered from an Achilles injury while hiking on our cross country trip looking for covered bridges. My first pair of vionics were purchased while it healed. I now own 4 pair. Wore out one which I use in the garden. I have only purchased the sandal. Someday I'll try another style.

Quailed the beast.
I purchased these shoes for my mother recently. Since I have not actually worn them (being a young guy with decent feet), I can only attest to how much she enjoyed them.Saying that is actually an understatement. She's one of 'those' mothers. While I love her.. I pity whoever inherits the title of daughter in law...She's nearly impossible to please. Old, angry, and 2% away from being crippled (keep in mind, I do care for her) (Most days). Fact is though, she loves these shoes.According to her -They fit perfectlyThey provide support and allow her to walk where no other shoe does. They are high quality and durableAnd she's not complaining about the price because I bought them -_-.I feel the price is reasonable. While I never get to wear them, I now don't have to hear about how my bad my mothers feet hurt on a weekly basis.*sorry mum. I love you and stuff*So if you have an annoying mom. Buy these? Or if your feet bother you. Or if you just want nice shoes!

Velcro broke after one month
I bought this a little more then a month ago, but it took a week to get to me so I have only had them for a month. I wore them lightly around the house most days, and some shopping and errands otherwise. I could probably look and see just how many steps it’s registered on these shoes. Well in the short month I’ve had them, the velcro that is stitched on the inside of the back strap has ripped completely off of the strap, rendering it useless without some sort of fix. Maybe..?I never really write reviews about the products I don’t like, and very rarely for something I love because I’m lazy like most people are. But this is sad. I have plantars fasciitis in my feet and it’s terribly painful, having these to wear around the house when I’m not wearing my sneakers has been so helpful. But that is why I’m writing this. Yes they work well for light use around the house without giving me stabbing or aching feet— but in just a month of that type of use, they have broken. Now it’s time to see what kind of warranty or anything they have for this. I’m so so disappointed, I literally loved being able to wear them out for dinner and have nice shoes to wear with a dress. I was thinking about buying a second pear in a different color! To put it one way, SAD.:-/That’s my experience :-/

I LOVE/HATE these sandals!
The support these sandals offer is the closest thing I have had since wearing custom made orthotics. I can put them on and wear them comfortably out of the box and they have just enough cushioning to make it comfortable but not so much that it bothers weak ankles. This alone makes this shoe one I will continue to purchase - but I will do it with my jaw clenched tightly. Other than comfort, these are the most expensive poorly made shoes I've ever purchased! The ones I bought last year had a fake wood plastic covering over the footbed which promptly started peeling off and has continued to do so. The "pleather" lining also peeled off. You could tell where I had walked in the house by the trail I left as pieces fell off. The "scales" of the shoe have come off in droves - the most color on the edges of all straps is now Black Magic Marker. The latest one I bought (supposedly looks like cork) was cheapened with a splash of gold paint which not only makes the sandal look cheap but detracts from the medallions between the straps. Hopefully it will wear off as quickly as the "wood" foodbed of my first pair did. It is beyond me how or why someone clever enough to come up with the PERFECT SANDAL would cheapen it by using really lousy materials on the part of the shoe that shows. I would happily pay more to get real leather. Oh, but then I probably wouldn't need to buy new shoes so often - perhaps that is their reasoning. Oh, how I hope someone will come up with a comparable footbed with quality upper materials - then I'll switch brands! In the meantime, if you have high arches and flexible feet that need a heel cup, then welcome aboard the "buy it even if it is ugly, cheaply made and wears out way too fast" club.

I usually like Vionic brand because of the wonderful arch support
I usually like Vionic brand because of the wonderful arch support. The problem was with this particular style was the Velcro. VERY poorly glued on and separated from several of the straps. Walking around Spain with these for 2 weeks and that was the end of them. They were new for the trip--had only worn a few times to break them in. I threw them out before getting on the plane to return home. We had to find a sewing kit to try to tack down the Velcro on the straps so they were temporarily useable. Too late to return the sandals but I will not buy any sandals from this company again with Velcro strap closure.

NOT Wide Fitting!
I had high hopes for these for the summer as their slippers and trainers have helped in overcoming plantar fasciitis but they have failed with these sandals. When will manufacturers learn that a wide footbed is not enough to class a shoe as "wide fitting" and that there are other things to take into consideration, like the length of the straps! Vionic please take note as you do not reply to emails! The straps need to be long enough to go across a wide foot and fasten and still allow the centre strap to be in the centre of the foot on top and not off to the side. The straps only just reach the velcro and you can see from the photo how they end up. The footbed was the right size and width but they are let down because nobody thought to make the straps long enough! Happy to help them to design something that works if they would like to get in touch!

Good
Lovely and comfortable and I am having less problem with my ankle turning in since wearing. They are not as stylish as the photo though and seem to be very wide at the front and is about 1 1/2 inches from my toe to the edge. The width is fine in the middle - look like flip flops and not very suitable for work. Velcro seems to be coming off the straps but hopefully just asthetic and they will continue to fasten. Would definitely recommend though

Comfortable and good support
I suffer from plantar fasciitis and usually get really painful feet in the evenings. These sandals are comfortable and support my feet well. I find that my feet are not painful in the evenings when I've been wearing them. Really happy with my purchase!

Expensive Support Sandal
The sandal has a wide foot bed but the straps have not been extended to allow the shoe to fit properly. If you tighten them to fit the straps then sit off centre making the shoe uncomfortable to wear. They are expensive as a support sandal, so I would have expected that this simple level of design would have been addressed. They are OK for occasional use but I wouldn't recommend a full day wearing them as they will be too uncomfortable after a quite a short time.

Comfy footbed, but oh! those plastic straps!
These sandals are very comfy, with a supportive footbed that is easy on the feet even over fairly large distances. My only gripe is that it was a pity to use plastic straps on what is otherwise a really great sandal. They do rub a bit and get sticky on hot days because of this. I think the manufacturers should have used leather for the straps - had they done so, I would have given this product five stars.
