I was concerned with how spaced out the bulbs were. But after getting them up, I'm super pleased with them. One bulb was ?pulled out of the socket? Its a good thing both packs give you one spare bulb.My setup was unique as we did not have a plug for this to go into without running the wire down the wall into an outdoor plug. I wanted a plug in the soffit but our local electrician wanted to charge $600 when it was less then 10 feet from the breaker box.HERE IS MY SOLUTION:I dremeled a hole in the soffit just large enough for the plug to get thru.Ran a 50 foot single-plug, grounded extension cord from the soffit in the attic above the garage.Dremeled another hole from the garage attic into the garage behind our built in shelves and ran the wire behind to the outlet plug.Knowing I didn't want to have to go out to the garage to plug it in everytime we wanted the lights on, I purchased a 3-pack remote controlled plug ($14.95 at a certain blue, 5 worded hardware store).Plugged the extension cord into the remote plug.Patched the soffit hole with metal/wire drywall hole patch ($3.95 at a local hardware store). Put some mud around it. Painted with leftover paint.Now, we have a brilliant, remote controlled solution! And its awesome!

Purchased the keymit lights about two weeks ago, bought 4 boxes total (two 2 packs) of 48 ft 1 watt LED lights. The lights all worked, there were no broken or dead bulbs, and they were exactly as advertised. The 1 watt lights set an elegant, warm white glow in the back yard that was easy on the eyes. I was worried after reading reviews about other string light companies. In many of those reviews about other companies the lights were broken, burned out, needed socket adjustments, or had severe wire problems. Some indicated that the lights were cool white or were too bright. My lights were perfect. The warm lighting sets a great mood for a party or for just hanging out (we've done both). If you prefer bright lighting then go with the 2 watt bulbs. 2 watt bulbs would definitely have been too bright to be considered "elegant", "warm" or "soft" lighting in my yard. We nailed the strings to the fence all around the yard and put them on a clicker. There were nail holes attached to the light strings and they worked great, can't see the nails. We haven't tried them on a dimmer, but they are quite low already and I don't think they would dim effectively anyways. If you purchase the 2 watt bulbs you may want to get dimmable bulbs. My guess is that they would be pretty bright in most back yards. I'm happy with my purchase and would buy more, these are high quality lights at a great price.

I have looked around and this is the best deal on LED string light that I have found. This is 1W LED edison light bulb that generates mood light, rather brighten up the area, which is perfect for what we need. It's also saving on energy cost. Product is packaged well, with padding box to protect the light bulb. The light screw base has plastic shell that would shield water from getting in, good quality. One of the strings had issue and we contacted the seller, and they immediately shipped out the replacement. We really commend their excellent customer service. We are extremely satisfied and very happy with the purchase. We highly recommend the string lights as well as Keymit for their excellent customer service.

These were great lights for our event. Nice and warm colored lighting, efficient LED. Great deal for the price. Every strand came with an extra replacement bulb (thankfully). We took a lot of care putting up the strands and taking them down, but the bulbs themselves are very lightweight and thin glass and we, unfortunately, broke 3 in the process of taking them down from our tent. I was happy we had enough spares to replace the broken ones. I'd highly recommend these if you're planning on hanging the strands and leaving them, but if you're planning on moving them often I would consider looking into strands with more durable bulbs with thicker glass.

Pros:Amazing value.Nice Ambiance.Cons:It was dimmer than I hoped for two reasons: low light and 3' spacing (I had imagined (unfairly since they specify 3' spacing) that they would be a bit brighter and 18"-2' spacing. It was too dim to play ping pong with even after we surrounded the entire table outdoors and then strung a strand diagonally over the table.Solution: We removed four of the bulbs and replaced them with higher watt LED bulbs and that did the trick.

Just installed these last week, and so far so good. As others mentioned, it came with one extra bulb, which is nice.I have it hung in two big spans, with the cord pulled fairly taut. It seems to be handling that well, and not stretching or sagging or anything. The brightness is perfect, and exactly what I was looking for.

Genuinely warm (2200k) light frequency. Bulbs are bright but not intense. Their collective light output is phenomenal.The construction of the sockets and wires is smooth, clean, very easily installed, and appear to be durable.The bulbs and sockets mate incredibly well, and will likely keep the sockets clean and dry.But the light! Bright and welcoming.(These are NOT ambiance lights.)
