This is really good I use it on damp hair after the shower and I see a difference when I scrunch my hair and especially when I blow dry. Lasts all day!!

I have been using this product for years on a very stubborn cowlick / difficult area and it works great. I typically use it before blowdrying my hair and a little goes a long way. It does not leave the hair sticky at all and despite being a bit costly it is definitely worth it to me.

If you have fine or medium hair, this is a must-have. It only takes 3–4 sprays at the roots to give my flat hair an instant lift without feeling sticky or heavy. My hair looks fuller, has more body, and still feels soft and natural. A little goes a long way, so one bottle lasts quite a while. If you’re looking for easy volume that actually lasts, this Aveda tonic delivers!

I absolutely LOVE this product! Unfortunately, there was a leak in the bottle & I was told by Amaz on to prove it! I tried to take photos of it but the bottle has a dark brown color. I couldn't get a photo to show how much had leaked out! Now the return date has passed. Sigh!

Works well but pricey

Been using this for years. I have very fine hair and I use this in the roots especially on the top of my head. It adds volume, it's not sticky and Aveda products are wonderful.

My hairdresser uses this on my and as a girlie with fine hair (and a lot of it) this really helps give me the the volume even when my hair feels so heavy! I love it. I bought the travel size for a trip!

I love how this works (I spritz some in one hand, then rub hands together, then apply to hair). However, I am not fond of the scent. I have other Aveda products that have the most amazing scents (Pure Abundance style prep in green bottle is my FAV), but though I like this product, the scent seems sort of like old soap (not sure how else to describe it, like it maybe USED to smell nice but that faded into something old). However, the product does give my impossible fine, thin hair a bit more body, so I'm still giving it the love.

The volumizing tonic adds some volume to my roots when I spray it on damp hair and style with a large round brush. I sometimes under tease my hair at the roots but when I use the tonic, this is minimal. There is no hardness or crunchiness to my hair and it feels on the soft side once dry. It does not weigh my hair down and I condition wash the day after and my hair is still in good condition with no heavy build up.
