Pricey but very authentic...
I've tried vegan chocolate chips before and they've been fine but usually a bit bland tasting or with a hard texture that doesn't really melt-in-the-mouth like 'real' chocolate but these are much better than that, in both ways. These have a nice rich chocolate flavour and the texture is excellent with a very authentic melt and I doubt many people would guess they're vegan if you didn't tell them.I'm primarily using them to make vegan choc-chip ice cream and they've been pretty good for that. Of course at freezing temperatures they get very hard but these are better than others I've tried and you get more chocolate flavour more quickly. They're lovely to eat uncooked at room temperature too, although I try to discourage this, unlike a lot of chocolate chips which really need to be cooked into muffins or brownies to become enjoyable. Of course there's a price to pay for this quality but if you sprinkle them sparingly and hide the bag between bakes then it's easier to justify.

Nice chocolate chips
These are nice chocolate chips, especially considering they're vegan. The flavour is lovely even to eat on their own. You get plenty in the bag, very useful for baking.
