It takes patience It is a tedious task to replace the unit. It does come with very detailed instructions. I suggest to watch some you-tube videos before attempting to replace the screed to familiarize yourself with the procedure. there are a lot of tiny screws and very small ribbon cables that if the screws get lost or you pinch a cable you may be screwed. The new screen had a pulsing when first powered up but after having it on for about 2 hours the pulsing stopped and it works great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars THIS WORKS!! *by T***Y on Reviewed in the United States on July 17, 2016* This is well put together! I'm using the phone that was repaired to write this review. The steps are extremely time consuming and I would agree with other reviews mark and label EVERYTHING! It did take about one and a half hours to complete and we are pleased to say this worked for us. The tools this comes with are the saving grace and are SO needed. You must have patience! I was terrified to attempt this and thought about just getting another phone. I'm glad I gave this a try. The screen itself is fabulous and clear just like brand new! By far one of the best products I've purchased in a long time. It was somewhat easy to install. And it works very well. But not following the enclosed directions or provided tools. To say they were poorly made is a gross understatement. The pentalop tool was too large and the Phillips screwdriver was too small and shaped wrong. If you are buying this "kit" because of the tools save your money and just buy the screen assembly. Buy the tools from someone else. As I was in the middle of my repair when I noticed that the provided tools would not work and would have quickly stripped the head I ended up using an old set of jewlery tools. Also don't even think about following the enclosed directions only - I used "I Fixit" directions on the web and found them detailed enough and diagramed enough to follow along with success. I think in the future (if I must do this again) I will order the cheapest screen on-line, test it prior to fully disassembling the phone. My understanding of the cheapest screens is the potential of getting a dead screen.
