Novagard G661 General Purpose Silicone Grease-Like Compound, 5.3 oz Tube

After searching for a product that would fit my needs for working on a Jet Ski, this product was the right choice.I have used this product on a Jet Ski to protect the sensitive electronics from salty water moisture with success.I also used this product on the Jet Ski O, rings and I am very happy with it. It is very tacky and adheres well to the O, ring.Because there are so many numbers on the Novagard package line of products, that can get confusing. So, I called their Tech Support, so I could have the right product for the job. It was an easy decision.This is an outstanding product that works extremely well, by protecting electronics against moisture, and also an excellent O, ring product. It will also work on many other jobs that are to numerous to mention. I bought this product after reading a suggestion in a review of a kitchen faucet. The reviewer applied it to the pull-out hose on a faucet, and it protected against fraying and sticking when pulling and pushing the hose.I'm happy to say it worked just as he said - it makes the faucet pull-out slide in and out without friction or wear. I'll reapply as needed, but it's slick enough to last a long time.I can imagine a lot of other uses for this product - squeaky hinges, and rubber gaskets and seals that need lubrication. Rubber parts shouldn't have petroleum products like Vaseline or WD40 on them because it makes the rubber degrade - so this product would work well on toilet gaskets too. It's a little expensive, in my opinion, but I only used a nickel sized dab to do the entire faucet hose. And silicone doesn't expire for years, if ever, so one tube will last a lifetime.

I purchased this item from Wasatch Family Store through Amazon Online. I had been searching every place I could think of for this particular lubricant for a few weeks without success. It was just plain unavailable for some reason. When it became available through Amazon Online, I jumped on it. I have been successfully using this particular lubricant for over a year where metal surfaces were exposed to outdoor temperatures. In particular, my garage doors and table saw top. I have found nothing else that reduces friction and provides the level of protection as this product does. I freely recommend this product to family and friends alike. I will continue to purchase this product unless I find something that works better.

I bought this to coat and lubricate the stainless steel extension of the new faucet be purchased. It was recommended by another reviewer and we appreciate his review. I also use this for all electrical connections on the farm such as spark plugs, trailer plugs and any other connection that involves electricity and you need good connection. It is excellent for coating the terminals on a battery after installation to keep the corrosion at bay.

I use this product for o-ring lubrication on pool equipment and for UV protection on automobile weather stripping. I like this silicone grease as it's much thinner and easier to apply than products like Aladdin Magic Lube and approximately the same price. Specified temperature range of -65 to +300 degrees F (-54 to +148 degrees C) is far greater than required.

Novagard G661 does an excellent job of preventing degradation in extrusion plates and molds. Particularly with engineering resins such as PBT, PET and Nylon.

This tube may seem expensive, but you don't need much of it in most uses.I bought this to use with a high pressure hand pump (rated for up to 3600 psi).There are many uses for such a grease, and this will easily last decades with how much you need for any particular use.

This was purchased "just in case" along with the Delta Leland Single Handle Pull-down Kitchen Faucet. Once the installation was complete I coated its flexible hose well to insure smooth "pull down" operation and am completely satisfied with its performance. It has also worked well for some minor jobs since then.
