I am 5'5" around 115 lbs with a 34D chest...I'm usually on average a small and I got the XXL, it fits well with a little extra room. I mightttt have been able to do the XL. The length isn't great but I have to tuck it in at work and its long enough to do that so oh well. I also wish the V was a little lower, it sits too high up on my larger chest, but that's not a big deal. I'm not sure whats going on with the sleeve length bc they're longer than 3/4 sleeve but too short to be long-sleeved, but I roll them up to my elbows while I'm working so that doesn't matter to me. I typically wear a small but I bought the XL which the size chart says is a US Medium. The "medium" was a good choice for me and I think the L (small) would have been too small. The fabric is a little thin but I just wear a cami underneath.
