I have a stray 5 month old kitten that just refuses to eat. He would only drink KMR and I had to syringe feed him initially for months. It is not true that they will eat if you just wait and they will get hungry enough to eat. He wouldn’t. I have taken him to the vet multiple times and I have had him treated for just about everything. He chokes easily, because he accidentally leans forward too far in a bowl and his nose gets into the food. I have done extensive reading on Google about this and I have read so many of the potential problems & ways to try to correct them. One big issue can be that they are over sensitive when their whiskers touch the sides of a bowl. I decided to purchase this and I actually am having success getting him to eat pate mixed with some KMR, and he loves it. He finally is learning to love food and chew and he is not getting frustrated and just giving up and walking away. It is a huge improvement. He no longer gets food in his nose and he has more control in negotiating the food because this bowl is elevated and tilted. I won’t feed cats out of plastic containers, because this is absolutely not good for them. This bowl is ceramic, and I was worried this would break easy, but I have already dropped it from a table outside and it did not break. I think it is because it is not very heavy, which is good. I have had no problems cleaning it in the dishwasher. It comes out perfect. I would definitely consider buying this. I think it is a wonderful way to feed all cats, whether they are having issues or not. This seems to be much better to use to feed all cats; once they are old enough.

My cat loves this! He eats easily out of this and he does not have to bend his neck. It is a decent size and is super sturdy. I got the white bowl.

My two cats love their new bowls and have adjusted immediately to them. I had shorter cat-shaped, elevated bowls for quite a while, so that probably helped them adjust to these. They are very nice and sturdy and look great. I honestly wish I had thought to get elevated bowls for my cats much earlier and not waited until they turned 7 years old. Both my cats eat only dry food. I put a smaller amount in these bowls to try and keep my one cat from eating too much too fast and causing her to throw up. These bowls have really been a big help. I highly recommend them for cats of all ages. 😺😺 UPDATE: I ordered one more white one. When it arrived, it was broken. The box was undamaged and it was packed exactly like the other three that I received. I called Amazon and sent a photo. I received a refund. I'm glad that the other three arrived undamaged. My cats and I are very happy with them.

Very nice quality ceramic bowls. Great packaging so no breakage. Easy to wash as the bottom standing "post" is hollow so it's easy to hang onto as they are heavy strong bowls. Not likely to be knocked off anything if your cat eats up on something like a table. I think my black kitty will enjoy her food from her black bowl.

It's a cute bowl but I am going to return it. I don't like that the top bowl part is just glued onto the bottom pedestal part. I don't trust that it is well made and it doesnt seem like the glue will hold up after washing and/or using microwave. I do warm up my cat's food sometimes after it's been refridgerated. The height is good, but I prefer something slightly taller as my cat is pretty tall. I ended up buying and keeping the Necoichi Raised bowl. It's one single piece of porceline, so no glue. It's also a little taller than this one. It was a little hard to get a good pic of the glue on this bowl, but the glue is visible.

This product is great. I was looking for a way to raise the bowl for my cat to a safe height while also eliminating the need for plastic. The ceramic bowl is very well made and has made feeding my cat very easy.
