This is the story of the Wylie family. Adam, Jessica and their three children move into a sprawling Victorian house in an exclusive area of Nottingham. A fixer upper, a project, a fresh start, their dream home - until it isn't.Hidden within the house is a secret room, in the depths of the room is a collection of seemingly random items that have been left behind. Adams fascination with this discovery, paired with his curiosity and determination to reunite the items with the rightful owner, sees the beginning of a series of events where Adam unintentionally puts him and his family in grave danger.There where times throughout the book that I wanted to shake Adam. His naivety and bravado, his selfishness, the constant silly mistakes he makes,resulting in his family being in danger on more than one occasion. Yet simultaneously, I couldn't help but admire his new sense of bravery and tenacity, trusting his gut instinct and pushing forward, grasping and holding onto any information to solve the mystery,to answer the questions and in turn protect his family.No matter how long you have lived in your home, I think we can all relate to hearing peculiar noises at night. When lying in bed, your brain jumping to the worst possible conclusion and before you know it you're convinced an axe murderer is on the landing waiting for you. I creeped myself out so much, that I couldn't read this at night! 😂I can't tell you how much I loved this book. I only wish I could read it again for the first time! I was gripped from the very beginning, the atmosphere and tension is palpable, the character development is excellent, along with short snappy chapters - I couldn't put it down.

I love t.m logan and will read anything he writes I loved it fantastic work again so intense and spooky

This book was fantastic. I love playing detective and this plot had so many twists and turns I couldn’t see coming. Another great read by TM Logan!

Yet another cracker of a story from TM Logan! Once you start this fast paced thriller it's very hard to stop. Great characters and a story full of twists and turns. Highly recommended!

I’m always excited whenever T.M. Logan has a new thriller out, and his new novel The Dream Home went straight to the top of my TBR pile. This is a really creepy, tense thriller and as I have found with all of T.M. Logan’s books, it is so addictive.We meet Adam and Jess who are moving into their new home with their three children. Not long after moving in; Adam makes a surprising discovery, when he finds a hidden room, which they didn’t know about. Even the estate agent appears to have no knowledge about it either. Inside the room Adam finds various different items, which may have belonged to the previous owner. But not long after the discovery, he soon finds his family is being targeted by vicious thugs, and what they thought was going to be an exciting new chapter in their lives, turns into a nightmare.This was such a tense read and I loved how T.M. Logan kept upping the tension with every new surprising twist and turn in this story. I wanted to get to the bottom of who the people were, who were now targeting Adam and his family. I could really sense their fear and anger. The mystery in this book really deepens, particularly when Adam uncovers an unsolved disappearance of a man that occurred more than a decade ago, and it’s possible, that the disappearance could now, at last, be solved, if the police agree to pick up the investigation. I was really intrigued by the possible link here, and as Adam investigates further, I could see the pain and anguish on the relatives of the missing man. I couldn’t believe the attitude that the police took towards Adam, and I felt really frustrated for him as he tried to plead with them to take what he was saying seriously. This did make me wonder if there were people in the police who knew more about what was happening than they were letting on and this created a really sinister atmosphere.I really did not want to put this book down as I was reading it. Adam’s journey to find answers kept me turning the pages. T.M. Logan always keeps building on the tension. The Dream Home really captivated me from start to finish.

T M Logan never disappoints. Worth buying. Slow build up of suspense with a surprise ending. Who would have guessed. Loved it.

A fantastic book. Great plot, I never would have guessed.
