Even though the price tag isn't that high, this isn't a cheap product. It's very solid, not easily breakable, and the two keys are definitely handy and work well. It is a small lock but it doesn't really need to be any bigger to keep your bike safe enough. If you're looking for a bike lock and not sure if you want to shell out for something the same quality as something cheaper, then this is the perfect price tag and product. It also comes with anti-theft insurance if you register the lock and your bike on their website, but you need proof of purchase for the bike to do that.

Appears to be a pretty well made lock , very sturdy. Only problem is the key unlocking mechanism acts funny and is difficult to unlock. I think my lock is defective. Too bad because it's a great value if it functioned properly

I got this lock for one reason and one reason only to protect me from being robbed at work in the middle of the night at work. South side crack town Arizona. In a convenient store. That doesn’t have working locks on the front door. I have to say it did it’s job well.I’ve been working with the company for five all most six years now. This location in particular for the past two. It never really was a problem tell. Tell the second year when the story started to get robbed constantly and mind you I work the graveyard shift by my self no less.What made me get the lock was the night I man assaulted me and my car in the parking lot. I got out of it ok a bit bruised but all right the other guys blood splattered on the front door. I was like enough is enough. I’m not working this shift with out something to lock that door. So I got the lock.From then on if I saw anyone on the cameras acting sus. I’d grab the lock slide it between the door handles and presto. No one is getting in with out me seeing them first.Well it did exactly what I meant it to do. One night I see a guy lurking around the side of the store on the cams so I grab my lock slide it between the bars snap it shut. A few minute later the guy comes running up. Hood ups bandana around is face clearly trying to charge in. I’m standing like ten feet from the door watching.As this guy runs in to the door expecting it to open. Im stand there smile and laugh at the guy for looking like a fool. He’s clearly not happy about this but storms off anyway. not before stabbing a screwdriver in to one of the front windows. In a fit.I was so happy for getting this bike lock. 10/10 would buy again.

Do not even think about buying this lock. I locked my bike up with this and a 2nd cable lock in downtown San Francisco and bike thieves managed to open the U-lock in seconds, but were thankfully thwarted by my 2nd lock before being noticed by security. This lock can be easily opened with a ballpoint pen cap. There are many videos of it being done on YouTube. If you care about your bike at all, spend a few more dollars on a better U-lock that does not use a barrel key.

I've had this lock for 3 months and it still does what its suppose to do. It's small yet looks, feels, and sounds like a strong solid lock. Initially I got it as a budget option until I got money for a fahgetaboutit kryptonite but havnt had any issues with this lock so far. Locking mechanism is still smooth. The issues with the key and lock might just be human error.

The lock worked for about a month and now the key gets stuck and doesn’t turn. it is really frustrating and has made me late a few times because I had to spend 15 minutes finagling with the key

A very cheap lock that has kept my bike safe! I ordered a second one because someone tried real hard to bust thru the last one and destroyed the hard plastic on the outside. Works great!

Es un candado muy básico para asegurar la bicicleta, yo lo aconseharia para bicicletas de bajo vlor o como complemento. Dicho esto la relación calidad precio me parece buena, el candado se ve sencillo pero cumple una función especifica. El candado y las llaves se ven de buena calidad, lo recomiendo si sabes a que le tiras.

Buen candado, se siente resistente y difícil de abrir. La llave tiene truco pero nada realmente difícil. La versión 550 U viene con una cadena de buen tamaño con la que podrás asegurar la llanta o amarrar la bici a una columna.Muy recomendable
