Took me about 2 hours to connect this product My computer wanted to block the product from using it finally I got into it and figured out how to use it I couldn't download the program from the website because my computer wanted to block the download and then the download didn't even show up then I finally went to my c drive where it said to go download it and it downloaded it but then my computer still wanted to block it but then I finally fixed it to work would work and then Microsoft gave me achievement for turning on Wi-Fi 6 weird but I don't know why it took a product so long to connect but the speed is a lot better than what I had on my computer I just don't understand why it took forever to connect I had to go into my program settings and set it up I couldn't set it up any other way I thought it would be plug and play other than that once I got it connected it was working

My computer room is set up in a part of my house where there's concrete block walls between my computer and our WiFi. To make it easier for my computer to receive the wifi signal, we bought this and mounted it closer to a window leading into another room, and that has fixed the problem. This device is perfect for boosting the reception. It's a simple plug-and-play installation so it should take no time in setting up. WiFi speeds will, of course, depend upon your own native wifi devices but this should make sure you pick up the router with ease.

Well, bought it last summer. I never did a honest review then. The adapter worked for all of five days, and completely quit. No power! The second one I tried, and there will not be a third. The seller gave me a prompt refund, but do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your wireless adapter needs. Much better more reliable options out there.

Directions ? - what directions ? - the "leaf" page that comes with the adapter is junk @ best - it mentions there's supposed to be a Mini Driver disc included - it's not - going to the UGreen website is a complete waste of time - WebSite SO poorly laid out - "if" the driver resides somewhere on the WebSite - I couldn't find it & the search function of the site as far as I can tell doesn't work. Loooooong story short - once you plug the AX1800 in - open "MyComputer" - or goto Windows Explorer & locate the CD which magically appears - as there is ZERO mention of this process in the "leaf" included with the AX1800. Run the setup which "should" appear in the Root Folder of the Virtual CD - that "should" install the driver - as the AX1800 is NOT Plug & Play - which it should be - but - whatever ...Once the Driver IS installed - reboot your PC ... you'll have to ... then setup the WiFi connection manually as there is No Carrier Agent which manages the AX1800 - the whole thing seems really odd for a PC device in 2024 ... the whole setup process reminded my of the many hops you had to go through WAY back with Windows 95/98 etc ... certain NOT Plug & Play by any stretch of the imagination ...Once setup ... I was able to get a constant speed of 250mbps+ up & down - need todo some fine tuning to get the wifi speed up - as this device is supposed to support WiFi AX which my new EERO 6e now supports ... the two devices do play together - but - as mentioned this entire process is NOT Plug & Play ...

Turns out it was a windows issue. You have to go to the device manager and under network adapters find the one listed as realtek then right click, select properties then go to the power management tab and uncheck the option that allows windows to turn off power. I didn't have a power management tab so I have to add a registry key Add PlatformAoAcOverride (0) to HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power as a DWORD entry in regedit if you are comfortable editing your registry then reatart. This is 100% a windows issue and not the product.

Fast I went from average 20-25mbps download on steam games with my ether cable and wifi extender till I upgraded to this wifi adapter now I get 200mbps + it’s crazy worth every penny and very adjustable 10/10

Wasn't sure how great or fast the connection would be through USB. But really works great, easy to install, and no issues with it. We have it in upstairs bedroom and the wifi router is downstairs in the living making it go through walls and flooring and still no issues.

After downloading the driver, My device manager started acting funny and saying some network adapters stopped working. It would work until the internet was used, disconnect, and not be recognized. It was like this for weeks until i decided to use a restore point to make sure this was the issue, and indeed it was. It wasn’t as fast as i thought it would be too. i got it to replace my wi-fi 6 card that my B-550 MOBO has, but i’d rather use the card.
