A Baby Blanket Marketed as a Snore Preventative
The Sandokare anti-snore blanket is supposed to prevent nighttime snoring by covering the torso and keeping it at a warmer temperature than the rest of you, even though from a medical and scientific perspective, they really doesn't make all that much sense. Given that snoring is mainly an action of the palate and throat, placing a small blanket over the front of you seems like it wouldn't do all that much to alleviate it.Indeed, that seems to be the case as I found the product doesn't actually work to reduce snoring and even if it did somehow, it is too small at any rate. It didn't cover my entire torso when placed horizontally as shown in the product description and frequently rolled off when I turned throughout the night (which I do very frequently). Placed vertically, it barely covered my sides and I also found it on the floor or within the bedsheets the next day. There is an optional strap provided that is supposed to anchor it in place but when I tried it, it woke me up whenever I turned.I agree with some of the other reviews here that this product is essentially a baby blanket that has been appropriated by the manufacturer to do double duty as an anti-snoring device. This item is acceptable for the former use, but for the latter, it leaves much to be desired. If you want a nice soft banket to place over an infant, then by all means I would recommend it. But if one expects it to fulfill its primarily objective in preventing snoring, I cannot make the same endorsement. It is only the fact it has some functional use behind the marketing claims, do I give it more than one star.

No help with snoring, useful for the cat.
So I was skeptical that this Sandokare anti-snoring blanket would actually work but according to the listing photos thereâs a layer of âhigh performance graphene fiber commonly used in physical therapyâ in the center of the blanket. I donât know anything about graphene but I figured what the heck, I could test it out.Well, the âblanketâ arrived and its tag is very clear that the fabric is 100% cotton and the fill material is polyester. Itâs labeled as âinfraredâ whatever the heck thatâs supposed to mean. But wait, the manual says the fabric is polyester, not cotton. Either way, no âgrapheneâ material that might work to prevent snoring. Itâs literally a small blanket that is currently being sold for about $17. If I understood the manual correctly, it works by⌠being a blanket. Which keeps you warmer. Which makes you more comfortable. Which makes you not snore. The instruction manual states over and over that it should be used for 15 days minimum. The manual also makes it clear that this is a long term solution and that you should continue to use it every night. So, I should put this little blanket on myself for over 2 weeks before I decide if it stops snoring, and then continue to use it for the rest of my life?Uh⌠no.The listing says it should work within 1-2 days, which is a big discrepancy from the manual, but seems much more reasonable than 15 days or the rest of my life. Our household gave it 2 nights for testing. It didnât work.I think I will let the kitty try it out. I bet it will keep him warm. I donât think he needs help with snoring but the blanket can still be useful.

I sleep too hot for this
I didn't think this through before I ordered it. I don't usually keep any covers on over me from the waist up. I guess I was somehow thinking that was the problem, but the fact is, it's actually not comfortable for me to have my upper body any warmer than it normally is. I seem to have two temperature zones. From the waist down I want a sheet and a blanket to keep me warm or I will wake up, but I run hot from the waist up. I found out that when using this blanket my upper body got so warm enough it kept waking me up. It looks just as described, so, individual results may vary.

Disappointing Solution
I was initially skeptical about how a small blanket could possibly alleviate snoring, and unfortunately, my skepticism was proven right. The SandoKare Anti Snoring Blanket did not help with my snoring issues at all.The concept behind the blanket, as explained, is to alleviate nasal congestion by providing temperature stimulation to the abdomen. While this might work for some individuals, it did not have any effect on my snoring. I found that my snoring persisted, and I did not experience any improvement in my sleep quality. Now, the blanket serves as nothing more than a regular blanket for my toddler's stuffed animals. While it's nice to repurpose it in this way, it's disappointing that it didn't fulfill its intended purpose for me.Overall, I cannot recommend the SandoKare Anti Snoring Blanket based on my experience. If you're considering it as a solution for snoring, I would suggest managing your expectations and exploring other options.

Anti-snoring Blanket
This did not work. Itâs a strip of âquiltedâ cloth that is purported to contain graphene fibers. My husband agreed to try this out for a week. Here are our observations:Itâs a strip of quilted fabric that you lay over your chest and abdomen so it only works if you sleep on laying on your back. Roll over and any potential benefit is gone. There are included straps so you can strap it on but thats uncomfortable and still doesnât solve the rolling over issue. He found it itchy and had to put it on top of the sheet with another blanket on top of it.It would not work in the summer when itâs too hot in Texas to sleep with any type of blanket. It didnât do anything to regulate temperature like graphene is supposed to so we cut it open and the insides look like a grey polyfil and not like any of the pictures of graphene fibers/blankets we found on the web.The instructions say that if itâs not working itâs your fault. Either youâre using it incorrectly or you havenât used it for long enough. I call foul. If it doesnât work itâs because it doesnât actually do anything.Itâs back to the nasal strips which do work even if sometimes they get dislodged in the middle of the night and get stuck to the sheets or the dog.
