Helpful for CTS
Carpal tunnel syndrome makes it difficult for me to hold a book because my hands tingle and go numb. This lap desk completely solves that problem. The cushion is comfortable (my cat also enjoys lying on it!) and the little fasteners hold a paperback or hardcover open surprisingly well. So glad to be able to read in comfort again!

I bought this so I could read in bed and have the book held in place. The rest are strong enough to hold any 300+ paperback in place.

Comfortable
I bought to read my Bible. It lays nice on tray part and cushion is comfortable. It's great if you want to sit upright to read. I prefer to recline and read, so I returned this for the Vigo wood book stand.

What An Awesome Reading Assist!
I had purchased this to help hold my books after I had shoulder surgery. What a great items! It holds books up that are thick (900 page paperback). The little are a really strong! I can’t picture life without this!

Bought for arthritic wife. She loves it for reading and a lap solid surface to write on. The “bra bag” base is easy to adjust and provides a nice solid surface. Well done!

Works as described
This helps my 93 year old mother with arthritis in both hands be able to read heavier books and uses it for word search books. I wish it had a material handle so that when we transition from room to room it would be easier. This is a great tool.

Just what I needed!
I was getting tired of holding a book or magazine with one hand (my cat demands the other hand for petting...lol), so this is a saving grace! I have sort of a wedge pillow with a lip I bought on Etsy years ago, but it doesn't hold book pages/hold the book open. This one does and it's comfortable to just have on my lap while I'm reading in bed.
