BikeParka URBAN Waterproof Bicycle Cover

Bought two bike parkas both urban. One pink one blue, supposed to be same size. The blue one was bigger than the pink one. It even quoted different sizes on the product labels. I paid a lot of money for a product that would fit snugly on my hybrid bikes. One was far too big and the other(pink) was too small for bikes of the same size. They do not fit well at all, the advertising pictures all show a snug fit, in reality they fit no better than much cheaper covers I have had in the past. I sent them back and got a full refund which was the only good thing about this review

The 2012 summer in London has been declared to be the second wettest summer since the beginning of weather recordings. I had to keep my bike outside during this season and needed a decent rain cover for that reason. The Bike Parka keep my bicycle absolutely dry. I would often find a pool of water on top of the cover that was collected after heavy rain, but there were no leakages at all. Also when the weather was very humid and warm you would expect condensation to collect under the cover but this does not happen either - seems the ventilation openings on the side do their job well. It is pretty light and dries off quickly. The fabric reminds me of those that is used for kites. It also seems to have been treated with a water repellant. This might need to be re applied at some point, but it's too early for me to be able to tell, as I had this cover for only half a year now. The product shot makes it look like the fabric could be stretched, but that's not the case. The fit on your bike will be rather loose, but its rubber strings will attach the cover securely to your bike and stay in place.

This cover fits about as well as a square peg in a round hole. There is some loose flappy bit above the handlebars which makes you feel you have put the cover on sideways. The stitching should go along the handlebars for some guidance as to where the cover should sit. The lock through is too far back making access to the frame a little tricky. I can only assume I have been sent a cover for a child's bike.

The only bike cover I could find that had an opening for locks on the side. It is a brilliant design! I just wish that it fit my bike, or that they had an URBAN XL model. My handlebars are 68cm wide but this was too small, leaving most of the wheel uncovered.. such a shame! Material seemed durable and the little bag it comes in is really handy (once you manage to get it back in).

This did what I wanted it to do: cover my bike, however it is a bit of a fiddle to get on and doesn't look as neat as the image, although it is more attractive ( if a bike cover can be attractive!) than others I had considered. Overall it's pretty good - made of ripcord, which is tough material, but it did get one tear because the wind whipped up under the inside of the cover, and knocked the bike over, which is a shame - the manufactureres should supply glue and a spare patch - like tents or surf kites, because I have no way of repairing my hole efficiently. That said, I prefer it to other covers.

Great. The only bike cover I could find with a side opening which makes it easier for me to lock to a railing. Quite expensive and the first one I owned was torn to shreds by the wind. I think it should be made of thicker material.

This is a great bike cover - mainly because of the velcro lock through option. Normally, if you have to lock your bike to a railing the cover never fits on properly as the lock stops the cover from going all the way to the bottom which means the cover often gets blown off with the slightest gust of wind. This cover stays put, the bike is well covered and the draw string also helps to keep it on snug. More expensive than many bike covers, but worth it - the others always end up getting blown off and ripped so a false economy.

Wir haben einen BikeParka URBAN im April 2018 gekauft und haben ihn zum Abdecken eines Holzpferds benutzt. Weil das Holzpferd im Garten steht, haben wir uns der Farbe (emerald green) für dieses Produkt entschieden.Der umlaufende Gummizug hat überzeugt, das Ding ist nie weggeflogen.Leider ist das Gewebe nicht ausreichend UV-beständig: oben, dort wo die Sonne am längsten einwirkt, ist das Gewebe nach < 1Jahr bereits eingerissen - und dass obwohl das Pferd den ganzen Winter über ohnehin unter dem Terrassendach stand. Ich habe dann mit Gewebeklebeband ausgebessert, das geht prima - aber dann reißt es wenig später woanders, weil das ganze Material dort morsch wirkt, man muss es mit "Samthandschuhen" anfassen.Insgesamt bin ich von dem Produkt enttäuscht, weil man Abdeckungen auch deutlich günstiger bekommt, und ich von einem Premiumprodukt auch Haltbarkeit erwarte. Zum Thema GARANTIE beschreibt die Homepage des Herstellers nur ein 14-tägiges Umtauschrecht - vermutlich nicht grundlos.

Die Abdeckung sieht schön aus von der Verarbeitung, jedoch ist das elastik unten so fest / eng gemacht dass ich es nicht über beiden Räder schieben konnte.Somit ist es für meine Bedürfnisse nur eine Zwischenlösung; was mich ärgert, da ich extra vorher mein Rad bemessen habe.( normals Stadtrad für Damen von Hercules mit Korb hinten).Wahrscheinlich werde ich unten einen Schlitz nähen mit Reißverschluss oder ähnliches.Die Tasche zum verstauen ist auch so klein und eng dass schnelles verstauen nicht geht, ich werde da auch auf einer anderen Lösung ausweichen.

Der Parka ist wirklich sehr robust und gut verarbeitet, leider passt er nicht auf ein Hollandrad. Ich habe zwar alles vorher abgemessen und es machte einen passenden Eindruck, leider ist der Lenker dann doch zu mächtig.Auf der Herstellerseite bekommt man dazu auch nicht besonders gute Informationen. Zum Glück gibt es noch andere Fahrräder in der Familie ( Rennrad, Mountainbike ) die sich jetzt freuen. Was die Qualität betrifft und die Optik bin ich voll zufrieden.

Moin! Der Parka ist heute gekommen, Lieferung hat aus dem Ausland etwas längere gedauert, Zeit und Kosten waren voll okay.Hatte etwas Sorge, ob die Größe passt, weil mein Lenker breiter ist als vorgesehen, aber es passt prima, wie ich finde. Mein Ebike ist sonst recht klein, 45er Rahmen aber 28er Reifen, und ich habe den Parka ohne Schwierigkeiten drüber bekommen. Das Vorderrad steht etwas schräg, so dass der Lenker wohl auch kein Problem ist, außerdem passt die (leere) Gepäcktasche gut mit drunter. Soweit also alles prima, das Zurückknuddeln in den Stuffbag war wie erwartet tüdelig, ging aber. Dafür ist das Paket schön klein und kann gut mit genommen werden. Praxisbezug, auch was das Anschließen angeht, folgt noch, bisher ist mein Eindruck aber sehr zufriedenstellend. Für die Passform hänge ich mal noch Bilder an.

Il telo di copertura è leggero e poco resistente. Si è logorato dopo pochi mesi strappandosi. Non lo consiglio se la bici è esposta al sole ed intemperie, e quindi non coperta da nessuna struttura, ma anche con copertura non credo possa resistere molto perchè il tessuto è davvero fino.

El artículo enviado no es el de la foto, no cuenta con la abertura en forma de X que se ve en dicha foto. El material no está mal y la funda cumple mis expectativas, pero es muy caro en su precio habitual. Yo lo compré por 29 € y por eso me encuentro medianamente satisfecho.

L'ho ordinato perchè uso la biciletta solo quando sono di turno fino a tardi al lavoro. negli altri giorni la bici resta sul balcone e volevo evitare che si rovinasse con l'esposizione alle intemperie. Devo dire che questo telo copribici svolge perfettamente la sua funzione protettiva, copre del tutto la bici ed è assolutamente impermeabile.

Il prodotto si è dimostrato all'altezza delle mie aspettative, stà proteggendo la mia bici da 3 anni, e comincia solo ora ad evidenziare inevitabili segni di usura. ho acquistato questo per prossima sostituzione. Riesce a coprire perfettamente anche bici grandi con cestino. Ottima tenuta all'acqua, alla neve e all'umidità.

Il prodotto si è dimostrato all'altezza delle aspettative funzionali per cui è concepito. Riesce a coprire perfettamente anche bici di grandi dimensioni o accessoriate con bauletto e altri dispositivi ingombranti. L'unica ragione per non ricevere cinque stelle è la sua scarsa resistenza al taglio e allo strappo: dopo solo due utilizzi ho scoperto due piccoli strappi in corrispondenza di alcuni spigoli vivi dei parafanghi e del manubrio. Ottima tenuta all'acqua e all'umidità.

Ein einzelner Bike Parka dient zur Teil-Abdeckung von zwei (!) 26 Zoll Rädern auf der Terasse.Tipp: Eingenähte Gummizüge entfernen und durch alte Kabel (oder ähnlich) als Gewicht ersetzen, dadurch ist der Parka viel leichter hochzuheben und drüberzustülpen (natürlich ist er dann nicht mehr ganz so windfest).

Die Abdeckung erfüllt die seinen Zweck. Die seitlichen Öffnungen sind sehr gut und ermöglichen die Benutzung der Abdeckung auch auf Fahrradträgern und/oder beim Anschließen des Rades an einem Zaun o.ä. - Vorsicht allerdings mit der Windanfälligkeit, da sich die Angriffsfläche natürlich erheblich vergrößert.Bestellung und Lieferung liefen problemlos.

Ich verwende den Parka als Abdeckung für meinen Elektro-Roller UNU. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Qualität. Reiß- und Wetterfest. Kein Schwitzwasser unter der Plane.

Ottimo telone per la bici ... prima di scrivere la recensione ho aspettato di verificare come reagiva al periodo invernale ... ha superato indenne due tempeste quindi devo dire che il prodotto è davvero buono. All'inizio ci vuole un po' per capire come metterlo
