The LawnMaster Cordless Grass Trimmer and Edger is battery powered, and comes with a single 2.0Ah rechargeable battery. The battery lasts for around 25 minutes, enough for me to do my lawns, and takes up to five hours to charge. This might be a problem if you have larger lawns, but the company also makes larger 4.0Ah batteries too.The restriction of this less expensive model is that the length is one size, it's fine for me t 5'8" but too long for my 5'1" partner. The next model up in the range has an adjustable height feature.The grass cutting line automatically feeds, each time you start the machine. On one occasion it seemed to stop feeding the line and needed a little manual intervention but has since been fine. I think the supplied line will happily last long enough to do my lawns for a couple of years. The grass trimmer with battery weighs just on 2.5Kg and doesn't feel heavy in my hands.A good garden tool, but really needs to be adjustable for height of the operator to get five stars.

One of the best domestic strimmers I have ever used. Definately value for money.

If you’re a women then don’t bother, the handle on this strimmer isn’t telescopic so it’s set to one length. The grip handle isn’t built on and is weak, mine broke off on first use making the stimmer unusable so I will be looking to return. The flower guard falls down all the time so it makes cutting and edging cumbersome. Debris gets stuck in the wire area and the strimmer head itself is unfunctionally big. Wouldn't recommend to buy. Surprised as the lawn master lawn mower is good

Good midrange strimmer complete with a 24v battery and charger from a trusted brand !!I opted for this LawnMaster cordless strimmer for the same reasons as most other people, because my garden is too big for an electric (cable model) without having to use long extension cables. Also, the petrol ones are too noisy and can be messy when filling with fuel, whereas the cordless strimmer gives you all the freedom with less noise and no fumes.It comes with a 24v 2ah battery, the charge time is 5 hours which gives a 25 minute run time.You can also purchase a bigger MX 24V 4Ah Battery which will obviously have a longer run time.The lawnMaster tools range uses the MX 24V Shared Battery System.In theory you should only need one battery and one charger for multiple garden tools (lawnmower, pole pruner, chainsaw, blower vac, strimmer etc).But I could not find any bare tools without the battery and charger to purchase on Amazon, so you will likely end up with lots of batteries and chargers.During use It feels well balanced and is powerful enough to trim all the edges around your garden.It has a 3-position adjustment, for trimming, edging, and reaching under benches.The line feed is automated, but several times during use the line completely disappeared, so I had to open it up and manually feed the line.Overall, it appears to be well made and represents good value for money.It's backed by a 2-year warranty. I was expecting to receive the same battery with this strimmer as I received with the robot lawn mower. But the battery is slimmer and does not have a built in battery label LED.The charger is also a slimmed down version of the mower versionThe strimmer instructions show the battery with the LED level and the full chargerThis is a pity. As I was hoping to inter-change the strimmer battery with the mower batteryThe strimmer battery fits the mower, but I only get 1 hour of use, instead of 4 hours with the mowers own batteryApart from the battery issue, it’s a very powerful strimmer

This strimmer exceeded my expectations.Smart and seems well made of reasonable quality plastic.The battery was smaller and lighter than I expected and I was expecting the run time to be quite short but it actually did my full main gardens edges which total 125m, so a substantial amount.A check of the battery at the end showed it to still have almost 12.5V remaining so well in the safe range.It then took about 3 hours to charge back to full.The handle is not adjustable in length but for myself at 6 feet tall I found it to be comfortable to use.The line extends automatically each time it is powered up so you do need to stop for that occasionally.It is a shame it doesn't have a power lock as you do need to keep the buttons pressed all of th time.Easy to use, powerful enough - very pleased and great value.
