They work perfectly. We don't have a lot of call for bags that keep out light, but I'm thinking I'll be using them for part of my prepper supplies. Of course they work for food like clear ones, no problem.

Leaves too much air in the bag
Too ridged, leaves too must air in the bag. The bags crinkle a lot and you will get freezer burn from all of the air.

Such a shame to find the material to thick for my vac / seal machine to get a 100% airless seal!
