This brush is exactly as described: extra soft! A great choice to use after a wash and style or the last brush you use before you durag/wavecap up. I have yet to try it during my wash and style but I will see how it holds with the shampoo still in my hair. But so far, I'm impressed. This brush in particular will have quite a bit of shedding of bristles in the beginning, but you can tell many bristles were used in this brush, so that is to be expected. This is literally the softest brush you can buy!

The brush is stylish ultra soft however, I found myself picking bristles out of my hair constantly. Very time consuming and annoying, this brush is useless who wants to pick bristles out of their hair every time they use the brush!
