As usual, the package arrived very quickly from Amazon.This Buzbug Rotating Head Rechargeable Electric Fly Swatter arrived in a bubble wrap bag inside a sturdy cardboard box; also inside the box is a USB- A to USB-C Charging Cable and an Information Leaflet.I ordered this as I have a much cheaper version that is powered by batteries.This to me compared to the one I have is a game changer, as one of the things I really like compared to my old one is that the head swivels for easy storage.It is very easy to operate, when you push the switch on the side up, you will see a red light come on, you just press the button above and it is ready for use, if you push the switch up another notch a blue light comes on, on the racket itself, in the information leaflet that it is a UV light I think these normally attract insects like mosquitoes, but the manual says it is “to serve as an indicator light for operating status, to avoid unintentional touch”.I do like that it is rechargeable so saves on batteries.I could go through everything that’s in the listing description but I’m sure you have already read it before reading my review, so I won’t repeat it, you can see the unboxing in my video, this is just my personal experience with it.At the time of writing this review the price is £14.99.I always like to show pages from User Manuals if there is one, so you know exactly what a product can do, you can just pause a frame in my video to read them and zoom in if you need to, also the squares on the table I use when photographing and videoing are there so you can use them to help you judge the size of items I photograph or video, the small are 1cm square and the larger ones are 5cm.I hope you have found this review and video helpful.

What is not to like about this, Flies, Wasps, and so on, that are really annoying, that always seem to fly around you head, now you can fight back, with this amazing zapper, charging it up is easy using the USB charging cable, and once it is charged, off you go.My office over the garage is usually a haven for flies in the summer, little B******, but now I can have some fun and go after them instead of them dive bombing me all the time, I did have a little go earlier today, we had a fly, only a little one, but I got the fly zapper and went hunting, I found it and ZZZZZ, another fly off to fly heaven, at least they will not leave little brown poops on the window sill if we can get to them early enough.The item is well made, thats for sure, and the grip handle is very sturdy, and you can get a good grip on it whilst you waft you way around zapping insects, and once you have finished, you can fold it up, and put it away for about 2 minutes as you can guarantee that a poxy fly will appear the second you put it away......This will get so much use, I might have to buy a second one so I can have one in each hand, they work very well, but I am chicken, I have not plucked up enough courage to put my finger on it, yet, to see what happens. LOL.If you really want rid of them and leaving a window open does not help, or the manual fly swap is useless, then get this, you will not be disappointed, I am not, and I am so looking forward now to the Summer. Folding electric rechargeable fly swatter with light. ( not sure why it needed to be folding )Simple to use, switch the mode button from the off position to the middle which arms the swatter ready for action, press the round button which electrifies the swatter and kills the fly on contact with the metal grill, alternatively switch the mode button to the third position and the swatter is permanently electrified with no need for the round button to be pressed, in this mode the swatter has a bluish colour light that lights up the metal grill and lets you know the swatter is on and ready to swat those flies.On the main handle of the swatter you will find a type C charging port as well as two LED lights that show the mode the swatter is in.Note, the light on the swatter is NOT an insect attractor light it's just letting you know IMO that the swatter is fully powered on and ready to swat.Beside the swatter you also get a USB type C cable for charging and a very large size, almost 1m long ( see images ) paper manual with question and answer section, personally i'd rather had a cheaper priced product and smaller cheaper manual.I have not swatted any insects yet but did do some practise swats ( lol ) today and ran into an issue where the swatter would start to fold up during a vigorous swat, i thought it was worth mentioning as i have had many battles in the past with angry wasps with other electric swatters but not with folding handles like this one has, maybe it can be tightened ?PS, you also get a little cleaning brush for the swatters grill.

This is a truly excellent product. I wish I'd discovered it last summer when the local mosquito colony decided my home would make a good night-time hang-out. With the recent onset of the slightly warmer weather I've found myself using it regularly for the past week and cannot praise it enough. Gone are the days of frantically chasing insects around with a rolled-up newspaper (and staining the walls after they get slapped). One zap with this and they're finished.The "zapper" is incredibly simple to use. When you spot your target, simple flick a switch on the side to activate the zapper, and place it over the insect. Even if it attempts to fly away it'll probably hit the zapper before escaping as the electrified "tennis racket" surface is about 8 inches by 6 inches. When the insect makes contact there's a surprisingly loud electrical crack and a small flash, and it's game over. Sometimes larger insects can smoke a bit after the electrocution, which is, excuse the unavoidable pun, something of shock the first time.The unit is mainly constructed from plastic, but it seems very sturdy. The "zapper" section can be slid sideways 180 degrees, reducing it's length by half so making it easy to store. And it's charged by USB (cable supplied) so you have no battery worries.So I have no problem whatsoever giving this a 5 star rating. Before first use I thought "what's it gonna do? It's a just bit of plastic, like a toy". But it's incredibly efficient at its job. I'm very impressed. If you suffer mosquito (and suchlike) visitations during warm summer nights, you'll find one of these to be a game-changer. Seriously. It's THAT good.5 stars.

Every summer, no matter what you do, flies are everywhere! So when I saw this on offer, I jumped at the chance!It is lightweight and very simple to use, although I don't see the need for the first switch. You can switch this on with one click, and it electrifies it but gives no light to show it is active. Move it a second, and you get a light to let you know there is current. No one has yet managed to zap themselves, so I have no idea what it might feel like to a person. I just tell the kids (and hubby!) to always make sure you go two clicks and the thing lights up before you use it! At least you know if it is switched on, and someone didn't accidentally just put it down without switching it off if there is a light on.The first time I used this, I have to admit, I let out a squeal as when it made contact with a fly, it made a load crackle and pop as it made contact...I was not ready for this! It gets the smaller ones instantly, and the larger ones tend to crackle a little as they get stuck inside the paddle. I have managed to get one of those horrible big ol' meat flies and that stank! Damned thing got caught in the mesh and just crackled and popped as it got electrocuted. I actually feel bad for the thing.So it does work, just be prepared for it to make you jump! xXx

As we are heading towards summer there will naturally be more flying insects buzzing around the house, unless your house is hermetically sealed anyway.This electric swatter / zapper from Buzbug is therefore a welcome addition. While I don't expect it to be a miracle cure it has already zapped a couple of the little blighters and makes a quite satisfying popping sound when it makes contact.The zapper is shaped like a small tennis racket and has two modes; the first is manual mode where you click the switch one notch then hold a button to activate it while you're swatting the insect that's annoying you, while the second mode is hands-free. The racket head can be rotated so you can sit it upright on a table or other flat surface. You then click the switch to the second notch and it is permanently on. The guide does advise that in this mode the battery will only last around 2.5 hours but you can attach the supplied USB cable to a USB plug or power bank so it can be kept running for longer, though you may need to buy a longer cable and plug if you plan to do this.While I haven't tried touching the swatter while it's on, there is a mesh that should give some protection. I still wouldn't recommend testing that theory though while the unit is switched on.I'm very happy with this swatter and all I can say is:Winged Insects: 0 - Mel: 2 😁.

This comes beautifully presented and, despite what it is, looks smart and well made.Operating function looks easy and, unlike other swatters, this is charged via a USB port. It comes with it's own stand and both the swatter and the stand are capable of being re-charged. To early yet to comment on how long a charge lasts but, if the stand is plugged in and on charge, I can't see the swatter going flat unless it is used in automatic mode.The 'racquet' part can be manoeuvred up to 180 degrees and, the instructions also say that the racquet can be left in situ on auto mode, to zap the pesky flies and mosquitos as they buzz past it, alternatively and, providing more satisfaction, you can just use this like a tennis racquet to target your prey and zap it. There is also a little brush to assist with removing little pests that get stuck.We are usually inundated with fruit flies and other buzzy creatures in our orangery and can't wait to put this properly to the test but since we have received it we have been fly free! However, I have no doubt this will work perfectly, but have only given 4 stars because we have not yet zapped anything. Once we have put both the auto and manual features to the test, I will update this review.Pricewise, it's not the cheapest but, it does look well made and of good quality and, would make a great gift for a flyphobic.

Oh it's so satisfying when you get that fly, after searching for it for ages. Then you catch it, and you get a loud 'Pop!' and 'Sizzle!' from the swatter. I should add, we do try and usher the flies out unharmed first. We only kill the stupid ones. So really we are doing the species a favour. As they will evolve to be smarter and not come in our homes in the future. I'm not really a sicko that enjoys killing flies.This is a very effective weapon in removing flies, it's very quick. Light and easy to swing about. It seems to have a little more power than some battery ones I have used. This is chargeable by usb-c and comes with a cable to do so. This is a chemical free way to remove flies, and that is a bonus.It's well-made, and the handle fold away for easy storage. It also has a mode that turns on a little light which is designed to attract flies, so this can do the work for you. I didn't test this mode. From looking at the light, it would need to be a dark room for this mode to work. I didn't find the light attractive, but then I'm not a fly. This swatter confirmed that for me.Overall a great device, and would recommend.

I bought this 2 years ago. Out of all the ones I've tried and used, this one is the best hands down. Charge lasts forever. The design is great for pinning the bug against the wall,floor, or ceiling. No gap to escape from. And I tell you now, I have beat and banged this thing against all manner of objects chasing down flies, and even tho it's plastic, it has withstood the abuse, and still works great. The others I've had fell apart.

Fliegen und auch kleine Fruchtfliegen kann man damit töten. Gerade die kleinen sind oft schwer zu erwischen. Hier geht man langsam ran und die fliegen versuchen anscheinend durch das Gitter zu fliegen und werden dann mit einem Elektrischen Überschlag getötet. Bei ganz großen Fliegen kann es sein das sie danach noch Mal davon fliegen, also richtig killen wenn sie am Boden liegen. Bisher 3 E-Klatschen getestet, diese ist super.

Ich würde diesem Teil auch 10 Sterne geben wenn ich könnte... Ich teile hier mal meine Erfahrungen bisher...1.) Erster Einsatz. Nervig Hausmücke am Fenster... Klatsche hingehalten und es gibt einen großen Schlag und die Mücke fällt tod am Boden.... einfach genial.2.) Die Nervige Stechmücke nachts die einen zum Wahnsinn treibt... Klatsche über nacht an USB C hängen und dank der blauen LED wird die Mücke angezogen und stirbt über nacht den Hochspannungstod3.) OBSTFLIEGN: Da ich einen Komposteimer in der Küche habe habe ich jedes Jahr einmal diese dummen Obstfliegen.... mit der Klatsche kein Problem mehr... Das Eimerchen mit der Klatsche abgedeckt und alle kleinen Fliegen sterben der Reihe nach...Jedes mal wenn eine Fliege erwischt tut es einen Schlag der deutlich zu hören ist... am Anfang erschrickt man ertwas aber mit der Zeit erfreut man sich, dass somit wieder eine Fliege weniger da ist die rum nervt.Der Akku ist nett wenn man mal selbst hand anlegt und auf Jagd geht und somit mobil ist...Im Urlaub freue ich mich schon auf die vielen Italienischen Mücken die das Gerät grillen wird :)Nichts für Tierfreunde, aber für Menschen die Mücken nicht mögen und nicht ständig gestochen werden wollen.

Wow. Take this out early morning or dusk and walk around the yard to see just how effective it is at zapping mosquitos.. I took a video but it looks like I need to use the app to video it, so I will update this review soon. The zapping noise in the video says it all. I love the convenience of being able to carry it around, and use it like a fly swatter, and turning it off when not needed helps the battery last a long time. The pricing was reasonable too.
