Not manilla, looks like plastic, pics are misleading.
The picture looks better than the rope, it is not manilla, more pale khaki, it also looks vey plastic in person.

Plastic not cotton rope . Not flexible for decorating which I was trying to use it for .

The rope is the size I needed. I'm using it for a railing that will be held in with metal caps. The rope is smooth enough. It'll be on a stone wall. Castle looking.

I believe this will last a lot longer than my original fiber rope. Really like the quality of this and liked that I could order a shorter length, which was just what was needed.
